He's performing well in the championship no guarantee the transition to the top level will go well. I think with CL looking likely we need to go for more top level proven quality.
He'll probably end up at a team like Swansea and do "all right".
He'd cost something stupid like £8m and I'd rather have Rodriguez from Southampton!
25 goals this season thus far? stupid? Not worth the risk? Not in my book. Well worth the look.

Moyes was at the match too, so maybe he's planning a bid. I think the kid would probably do well at a mid-table team like ManYoo.

But this is the championship we are talking about. Haven't we seen a few players who were great there fail to replicate that form in the Premier league?
It all comes down to the manager anyway and if Rodgers thinks he can get him to produce at the top level then......

RAP
Question is can he do it if the opposition put in front of him is of a much higher quality?

For the rumoured 8m pounds I don't know RAP. We need to stay within FFP rather than be the litmus as to how toothless(or toothful) it will be. Looking at our finances we need to be spending that kind of money on players to improve the first team immediately. I just think there are other players more deserving of the opportunity to prove themselves at Liverpool. I'd rather go for Rodriguez than Ings TBH.

Fair enough. I trust Rodgers anyway and if he went for Ings I'd be confident he could get him to produce.
