Leeds United filed for administration with only a few days remaining in the 2006–07 season, which automatically triggered a 10-point penalty. This placed Leeds at the bottom of the table and relegated the club, but they were extremely likely to have been relegated anyway. By entering administration during the 2006–07 season, they hoped to avoid starting the 2007–08 season on −10 points. The Football League saw this as a club trying to exploit a loophole and changed the rules. From 2007–08, any club entering administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have their 10-point deduction suspended until the following season. If the club is relegated the points will be deducted from their tally at the start of next season. If the club stays up the 10 points will be taken off their final total.

This squad would be competitive in League one. Might see some wins again?

no?

no thought not

Anyone who thinks Leeds can stay 16 points above the relegation zone with BM at the helm needs a check up from the neck up.

Last two home games.

Leeds 1 Bolton 5
Leeds 2 Reading 4

I can only conclude BM has lost the dressing room and the players want him booted out of the club.

I just wish people would realise all this could be avoided if we just get a manager who plays PASSING FOOTBALL.

But do we have the players to passage ball? I don't think we have to the moment.

exactly we need a young manager wanting to play football and to trust the players to do so

Someone like Karl Robinson, then we can achieve midtable in style!

Last February, I made an article suggesting Uwe Rosler and Nigel Adkins, while people were still saying Warnock could get us to the playoffs

Sir Kenneth Bates

where do you think we are now playing Longball? midtable, where were we last season playing longball? midtable. Where were we under Grayson, with a modicum of style? near the play offs. Where are the teams who play passing football? in the playoffs

Still, 2 passing sides against each other and you'd expect the one with more quality to come out on top. Looking above us and I'd say probably only Ipswich have a worse/equally poor squad as us.

Also Grayson had the better squad so better league performance, regardless of style of play isn't too surprising.

IF we were to go into admin again, and jeez i hope not - but IF we do.

Why wouldn't the FL throw a much bigger penalty at us? Afterall we've got previous, and they could argue we've not learnt our lesson, so here you go we'll double the points deduction?

I've no idea if they can do it, but in theory if someone breaks the rules once you punish them. If they do it again, then you punish them more - thats how life normally works.

So far Caesar they have nothing on Cellino, but realistically, they have nothing on Eleanora Sports either, which means the longer it goes on the more the FL are dropping themselves in it.

I know Cellino said he wouldn't fight the FL if they refused him, but what reasons can they give for not passing him.

Cellino makes 200 million Euros a year, if the FL said it's cos they're checking to see if he has the finances they'll be laughed at.

If Cellino walks away, his son or daughter take over, they're just as rich in their own right.

If Harvey's waiting for a reason, he could do himself more damage than a little, but it's not only up to Harvey.
