Has BM Any Support Left?

I said a long long time ago that support for BM would wane.

I read between lines, I don't always take everything at face value, cept one night stands, lol.

Reading between lines allows you to look through cracks and holes, it's what I do to form my opinions, others do things their way.

I would keep him for now.

Not convinced he will turn it around and after Reading I was thinking it was time for a change, but after reflection... Not sure if we will get anyone better with Cellino in charge.

He's got my support

He's the best manager we've got.

According to the North Stand on Tuesday night (admittedly at the beginning of the match) he had support, and plenty of it.

I think most fans in the ground realise he's managing through a difficult period. Best time to judge him is when he's got reliable backing and we know he's brought in the players he WANTED, not what he could have.

The above being said - even those who still provide him some support are getting tired of baffling decisions. Perhaps the whole situation is clouding his judgement.

By the way of the summer signings, granted not all have come good. But then Wenger/Red Nose et al, don't get 100% success with signings. I'd argue they get around 50% right at best.

Murphy has been arguably our best player in the last 2 games (that i've witnessed). Smith, for an average player according to some has bagged 10 goals - more than most would have anticipated. Wickham/Butland have arrived in the squad during the eye of a storm, so difficult to assess whether they're a success or not.

Don't know where this idea, he's had no backing comes from.

The wage bill has gone through the roof

Brought in loads of players and has spent money on transfers

Now I can accept midtable if were building.

What I can't accept, is rubbish football, no plan and going backwards.

Got about has much tactically nouse, has a lump of wood.

Struggle first 60 mins and then bring on smith and just lump ball after ball too him, and then it's 50 50 where the ball goes. It's just pure pot luck.

Smith to be fair, whilst I don't think will ever be a first choicer, has done well, but get the ball to the byeline and get some bloody balls crossed in.

Pumping high balls will only have a chance, if the other team are deep.

And they will only be deep, if there winning

He has one supporter who is convinced he can take us to the premiership.

Himself.

His tactics are very very poor, actually quite surprised at just how poor they they are. He will never be here next season, no way.

What frustrates me is getting the ball into positions wide and not putting it into the danger areas.

You buy a massive lump to play up front and have paocher in the box, but very rarley get the ball into the danger areas. Annoys the f u ck out of me watching it.

LIW

I've grown to like Smith, he's improved and didn't think he would.

Harrogate

Smith has a good attitude, and has improved

Yep, very good attitude and gets positive noises from where i sit. One of those players who is able to use his head in more ways than one, he knows his limits.

Agree with most things you say

Apart from the utter nonsense about Ross and becchio

Taken from BM's recent statement.

“I honestly believe I’m the man to do the job at this club. It’s been proven in the past. I’ve done it in this league, I’ve got out of this league. If I had no track record then you’d sit here and say ‘this guy can’t do it.’ But you know I can because it’s been done in the past.”

BM is lost in his own mind.

I got some disagreeing abuse from some when I said a while back that BM isn't good enough. Now the worm has turned however, while I stick to my original statements, BM is doing himself, and those who abused me no favours, self humiliation can be classed as self inflicted.

Eric,

Another cracker

No one clicked yet though,lol.

Let's call a truce LIW.

A while back you use to get abused for what you said, your opinions didn't matter cos it was classed as banter by some and useless by some others and yet, I agreed with a lot of what you said and backed you on it.

You've been there remember.

Shall we agree that utter nonsense is foreign for saying opinions and views?

Some people wrote him off before he had even started, can't be doing with that, he didn't have a track record of being a poor manager at all.

Also can't be doing with this 'I told you so' or 'I said it first rubbish' There was no theory to it a year ago.

Just as bad as people saying he was the best manager we have had in years, after only a few months and calling him a legend.

posted on 14/3/14

He has totally lost the plot.

It's a bit like Rene and Renato saying they will have another no.1 hit, because they had one in the past.

No truce to be call pal.

It's just been difference of an opinion

If that's a dig at me LUFC H'GATE,

I wasn't the one who said it a year ago, I was saying it not long before he got sacked.

If ya suggesting I was gloating, I was not to most, but I was to those who chose to abuse me, cos they are now suffering from the same self humiliation (self inflicted) that I believe BM is suffering from.

Those who have sly digs at others, without being upfront are in same boat as those who self humiliate and abuse.

Would you care for a bigger shovel?

By the way, If I've read your comments correctly, ya second and third paragraphs contradict each other.

Try debating without abuse or sly digs LUFC H'GATE, it makes for much better reading and, it gains you respect from most.

Fair enough LIW.

Now, in my opinion it's your round, lol. get'em in.

I actually agree with most of what LIW says in his first comment on this thread too.

LeedsLuvr,

seen as you referred to me as a BM lover the other day, ill take part of your last post as aimed at me!

Why would I feel humiliated because Brian has failed? It makes no odds to me, I just choose to support our manager and not find every reason to run him down. He has had a chance to turn it round and it hasn't worked, these things happen. Why would that humiliate me or anyone else your referring to?

You have spent all week saying 'I told you so' with the big look at me approach, even saying yesterday re: Ross being top scorer that you will come back in May and have your turn to gloat if somehow he doesn't finish up there.

You seem the type to revel in our misfortunes just because it proves that you were right, which in my eyes makes you a certain kind of person, ill leave that up to you to work out!

Yes it was aimed at you, but not just you and it wasn't a sly dig, it was a full honest upfront dig. Nothing sly about it.
