Or it may just force them to run out of money, default on their recent loan and sell the assets secured against it. There goes the car park and Edmiston house.
Assets that were secured by the Board that some people want to give more money !! The loan is until September 2015 BTW so that's not a pressing threat
I'm not giving them more money, I'm buying a season ticket.
You sure it's 2015?
Pretty sure , yeh. You are giving them money without any guarantees of sustainability or investment . Everyone of us wants the same , it's very personal and I can understand those who feel uncomfortable with holding back but sometimes you have to bite the bullet.
I'm not paying for investment or sustainability. When has any rangers fan done that?
I'm just buying tickets to watch football. That's all any fan does unless they actually invest by buying shares.
To be honest instead of talking about "investment" rangers fans should be more honest - its a donation that you want. Because there is no such thing as an investment in a football club, especially a Scottish one. Where's the return gonna come from?
We didn't need to in the past , but we now have a Biard that lies and a. CEO that either does the same or says nothing ! Totally unacceptable
this withholding of season ticket money is the single most dangerous thing thing to happen to rangers.
guess what its been pushed by rangers fans. couldnt make this up at times
We used to have a board that lied when Murray was there. Remember "I will only sell to someone with Rangers best interests at heart"
Nobody withheld season ticket money then.
I'm sick to death of Rangers fans whining on about who is in charge. You didn't like Green - he's gone. You didn't like Mather - he's gone. You didnt like Ahmed - he's gone. You didn't like Stockbridge - he's gone. You didn't like Irvine - he's gone.
Seriously what more do you want?
If people aren't happy - buy the current lot out. Until then deal with it, because none of your rich Rangers Men love the club enough to dig into their own pockets. They didn't when Murray was selling, they didn't when Whyte sold, and they didn't when Green floated the club.
Now they want us to risk our money, and the stability of the club?
So what do you suggest ???? Pay up and wait for them to rip the pash out of us...again ! It's great to sit and type criticism of King etc but at least put forward an alternative plan ... Or maybe you're happy with the Board .
Season tickets will be down anyway.
A raise in price, coupled with McCoists crap football will see to that.
There will have to be a compromise, whether that be the proposal put by King, or a buyout round about September time, which would fall into the ballpark figure King would be looking to buy shares at.(Taking he gets 30% and makes a proposal to buy the rest, then legally that can be at the highest price within 12 months)
Alternative plan - King and the Blue Knights buy them out. Until then they are just a hindrance.
If you want to buy a football team - just do it.
These guys have no affinity to rangers - they just want to make money. So pay them off.
It's not that simple , Green signed contracts that last 7 years and the club gains nothing, whoever buys the club will have to break these contracts and that'll cost millions , King wants to know the bottom line before his next move .
Or drive the club into admin so those contracts are broken...

and there we have it, kings plan admin 2.
best way to achieve that?
withhold season ticket money and make unreasonable demands.

I suspect King and others with the interests of Rangers at heart would rather put as much money as possible into the club rather than into the pockets of the present regime.
And so do I, everyone has fears about Rangers , I don't believe Kings aim is admin 2 .Let's wait and see what he has to say this week
