Yes, he won world titles at 8 different weight classes.

D4 when are them updates coming up m8, I've had a good week

posted on 16/3/14

He is paper champion in quite a few of them. Never be the man at 135, 147 or 154.

D4 probably thinking how he can rig them so he is first.

This guy is clearly biased and I don't agree with everyone he's said, but agree with a lot of it

RGK who do you think has the better resume?

I think Pac.

A couple of Marquez wins, Barrera, a couple of Morales wins, a win over a near prime/prime Cotto etc

Morales was past it and coming off a loss to Raheem. He deserves credit for Cotto and Barrera wins.

So who do you think has the better resume? Be honest.

Who him and Floyd? Mayweather. He will be in the top 10 and Pacman from 20-30 in the all time great list.

I thought one of the wins was for light middle weight but was at a catch weight below the 154 limit!

Can someone clarify if that's classed as a legitimate world title win!

Fraud don't even make the top 50.

Pacquiao is an eight weight world champion, Floyd would need to win titles up to light heavyweight to even begin to compare him to Pacquiao.

posted on 16/3/14

You win one of the main 4 belts or become the linear champ it is legitimate.

Pacquiao has also been the man at many of the weight classes he has fought.

Welter
Superfeather
Feather
Fly

What about the light middle weight one though that made him this 8 weight world champ?
That was a catch weight below the limit.
Does that still count D4?

posted on 16/3/14

He won the title it counts just as much as any other.

Canelo got his title by Martinez being stripped for some strange reason and winning a vacant belt.

Cotto beat Yuri Foreman.

Oscar beat Mayorga.

Floyd beat those men to become light middle champ, none were the man at the weight or had beating them.

If you question Pacquiao's legitimacy of being champ, then you should question everyone else's

Btw try and update week 2 on here if/when you can be bothered m8

posted on 17/3/14

So just to clarify, it's totally legitimate to win a world title belt at a catch weight below the actual world title belt! This is still seen as a legitimate world title win at that weight D4?

posted on 17/3/14

SRL won Donny Lalonde light heavyweight title at 168lbs and also won the vacant supermiddle weight title as well on the same night.

Lets question that.

Hopkins beat Oscar at a catchweight for Oscar's title, lets not count that one either.

What about all the fighters that were unfairly stripped and vacant title won.

Sure, rewrite history if you want, but do it to all fairly and not just pick on Pacquiao.

posted on 17/3/14

I am not picking on Manny D4 just using him as an example to try an see what peoples opinions are!

Really what I am asking is do you personally feel that his win for Light Middle at the catch weight should have been for the belt or becuase it was a catchweight it should not have been for the title?

Its about opinions on this one not about past fighters!

Cheers

No problem, glad I could help

posted on 17/3/14

So your 100% opinion is that it is a legitimate title win even though it was at a catch weight?

Cheers
