hes scored goals, dont think hes been great defensively

I actually think he has done very well defensively, I think Agger is the one that has been getting us into difficult situations.

The shirt tugging was obviously idiotic which im glad he's toned down.

nobody in defence has been amazing in fairness, but hes got us some crucial goals

we have most of our cleansheets when agger has been in the team...

thats what the stats say

He's been a rock defensively, Agger is having problems though

Its a difficult one really. Your not wrong Ilori.

I find we have defenders who are suited to different types of match ups..

Agger struggles with pacey midfielders but prefers playing against hold up strikers.

Skrtel you could argue is the most versatile and has the best anticipation.

Kolo is a bit hyperactive and tends to get in the way of his CB partner, however, his style of pressing quick and hassling his man works really well against players who are not as quick with their mind.

Sakho - we need to see more of, however his passing and composure is what has stood out already.

sakho is the best defender

I absolutely love Agger, one of my favourite LFC players over the past 7 years, but i have to say he looks extremely slow at the moment and has been caught out of position a few times this season. Sakho will defenitely start on Wed.

Aggers clearly the most talented of the lot but he just seems flat footed and a bit complacent far too often these days

Skrtel has been our best centre back for three seasons in a row now.

Its a strange one, maybe the fitness / stamina is quite what it is, maybe the injuries are taking its toll.

Same with Johnson, been average for the best part of the season and then out of nowhere he has a blinder like he did Saturday.

Maybe the old guard is beginning to dwindle?

I think Johnson takes a while to get form back after injuries. But once he gets a run going he's top class. Alonso was the same way.

what even last season when he got dropped for carra becauae he was very poor?

Think you're right Kaiser, I have just noticed that usually it would take him a few games, but now perhaps it takes him longer.

I am fairly sure Johnson will move on this summer too, cant see us paying the wage he's on and will probably want to bring in someone for the future.

2 new fullbacks this summer I reckon

Think we need a defensive overhaul. Not sure that Johnson will be around much longer with his contract up soon. Skrtel is the only one of the CBs to have had a good season. Aggers been exposed far too often this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved in. Kolos hardly the future and I've barely seen enough if Sahko to get a proper read on him. God only knows what's happening at left back too
