Shame if he had some humility didn't need to happen. Hope he learns and this has a big effect on him. Best wishes!
Right let's get in with it..............
It is what it is. Managers come & go all the time in this business. Onwards & upwards
Odds on warnock sneaking a playoff place and beating derby 5-0 in the playoff final?
£1 might just make me a millionaire!
sadly alot of us wanted him, at we got him. Least theres a fair number of good managers out there at the minute

Wonder if Billy will ever be employed again?
Surely one of the most hated and least respected managers in football!?
Some Scottish minnow club like Rangers will go for him one day Hoons
Now it's time to SUMO (shut up & move on)
I can't wait for the new CEO and press relations to begin again.

Posted this on the Leicester board, but I'd be interested to know views from the Forest fans' perspective. Sometimes things seem different when you're an outsider looking in:
"I must admit that Forest having Billy Davies in charge made them an easy club to hate and replacing him with Colin would, well, make them an easy club to hate. In purely football terms, however, is getting rid of him really the best decision? He’s been relatively successful wherever he’s been and I thoroughly expected him to be successful at Forest.
His constant reference to the amount of injuries at Forest was a bit tiresome and you can make arguments about whether that is down to luck or training and conditioning. Notwithstanding that, however, if you look at Forest’s record prior to losing so many key players and their record now then I reckon you could draw a pretty good correlation between injuries and their plunge in form. So, apart from committing the cardinal sin of getting thrashed by your biggest rivals, has Billy really been that bad?
Remember this time last season it was us thinking that our manager should be sacked and that’s without the injuries that Billy has had to contend with. I would expect them to be competitive next year with their current squad and be one of the favourites for promotion. They’re not even out of the play-off shake up this year yet.
So, from the perspective that he’s an odious little toad and you wouldn’t want him anywhere near your football club then it would be absolutely the right decision to sack him - but if that’s the criteria then why bring Warnock in. If it’s from a completely football related point of view, however, then isn’t this just another example of the short term thinking in football?"
Yep. Joby... it's a short term fix to try and salvage our season
Jobs you're spot on. It could be a terrible decision but in many ways there was no other option.
Where "super billy davies" lol
Joby, agree with much of what you say but there is a big difference.
I don't believe NP has acted with the lack of class and disrespect for the club that Billy has started to show towards Forest in the last 3 months. If anything NP took it on the chin and responded to the criticism in a very positive way. Sadly Billy went to ground and stopped talking anyone, found a 101 excuses as to why it was not his fault and acted liked he could do no wrong.
For that alone he lost the support of the fans. We have seen this movie before and we all hoped it would be different this time round.
I'm sad that our great club is in this position again, as a life long fan it truly hurts, but I also believe that Fawas after all he has done for us deserves better than what he was getting from Billy.
Is Warnock the answer probably not but to be frank I'm glad Fawas has drawn a line in the sand and shown that
no manager is bigger than the club and no manager will be allowed to put his own interests ahead of the club.
As I say I think NP acted with a lot of grace under extreme pressure and has reaped the rewards, as has the whole club, and I just wish that Billy could have found it within himself to do the same.
