We will spend a bit this summer and some will say that it justifies signing no one in Jan.

Doesn't matter who we sign, they will get injured near the end of the season and we will fall apart as usual.

The club HAS to spend big this summer and for once I believe that they will do.

Wenger will not spend because he dosnt like to 'upset' his players. Former players and David Dien have been saying as much recently, he is loyal to his players and this clouds his judgement. He sees himself as their father or something, and forgets he is manager of a team of grown men, and the whole point of his job is to win things for the club, not to have his bunch of favourite people have a nice, happy time.

No doubt Wenger is a quality manager, but there is something amiss with his philosophy.
For Years now, Arsenal have been 2 star quality players short.
Gonna be interesting summer, but might not be a bad one if he goes.
Problem you got is, there isn't many that play Wengers way... Will the fans tolerate a change in style, if it brings success... Course they will.
Maybe it's time for a a change.

I'm not trying to defend Wenger in here but I can understand (don't agree though) why he was unwilling to spend in the summer and January.
We were the in-from team in 2013 (calendar year) and probably thought we could sustain his from until May.
I wouldn't be surprised if we lost more games since January than we did the whole 2013.
Unfortunately, our form has dropped, some players went missing (while on the pitch) and injuries have not helped at all.
I can also see big spending and a mini clear out comes in July.
