The Daily Fail think we are going to buy Costa and pay £40m for a player with a £32M buy out clause.

Papers just have to fill space and will churn out the same rubbish time and time again.

If they did always get it right we would currently have a forward line worth about £250m.

I think the idea is link us with every forward in Europe, when we finally sign one come up with headline that says we told you 1st, always 1st with big transfer news.

as to your points above I dont see Mandzukic being signed but if we do it will still be an improvement on what we have.

Thats a Jose quality alright.

Fed up with people saying Lukaku is the new Drogba. He doesnt have anything like the fight or determination that Drogba had from what I have seen so far.

Doubt he would cost half the money of Costa. Costa's release clause is £32m and Bayern would still (quite justifiably) want at least £20-25m for Mandzukic.

We have about £26m from the sale of Mata to use. Plus I doubt our transfer budget will be entirely made up from sales. Just that if we want to make a bunch of big signings, we will need to make some sales to compensate.

Will Cech and Courtois have a set to ?
I feel this won't be easy decision for the team spirit in the build up to the new season in who Jose chooses as no.1. I know you will say it was the same with Mata not getting games, but it isn't. Cech has been here and through so much more in his time here. Very under appreciated on and off the pitch by a lot of fans i feel.
But Jose has probably made up his mind already would be my guess.
Just letting fans know Cech might not be here next season. Deserves a good send off if he is

Money will be coming in from 1 of our goalies

You have a very difficult decision to make between Cech and Courtois, yes Cech has been great but Courtois could be your keeper for the next 15 years and you can't risk losing that over sentimentality (see SAF on Scholes v. Pogba)
