The people who say "Villa could have won if Benteke had scored".... Why don't they apply that the other way... "We'd have won 5-1 if Rooney had chipped the keeper"?
Was a good win, and a fairly comfortable one, i thought... even the big Benteke chance, de gea was well placed and had a decent chance of blocking it.
the crew often say... "I just want to see progress, a clear idea of how Moyes wants to setup and some nice football".
4 of the last 6 games, we have seen that... yet the same mantra is still repeated... Simply because we are not in the right place to be beating the top form teams, right now.

Unless you write an article blaming Moyes for the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria, they won't wanna know.
But you are not alone in your hope for the next few seasons
and the most damning statistics of all; Champions last season on the verge of finishing 9; has there been a worst defence of the title in the premier era; am not sure how Blackburn fared after they won in 95
Let me celebrate on behalf of United fans for their first home win since January consolidating 7th place in the PL
We won 4-1 so I was expecting this forum to be full of moyes in fan club talking about how good a manager he is and all he needs is more time and money.
Moyes out boys are too busy scheming what to do to get moyes out after the flyover backfired

Old Trafford Booing the plane is better than the 4-1 win in my opinion
It was a good win today, but we still looked shaky at the back and that's what worries me most. Villa were poor though and all season we haven't performed against the better teams.
Bayern could be on for a big win,

Spot on Ji.
People expect us to be a finished article when in reality, Moyes is starting the long, arduous task of rebuilding this side.
We're doing better over the last few weeks than we were in the first half of the season so there is improvement.
Once he builds his defence we'll start competing with the bigger teams.
Like Paul Scholes said 2 weeks back, without a top, regular defence we are not going to be able to compete.
And before people bring up Liverpool's defence, no it's not great but they have the Suarez effect which is much like the RVP effect for us last season.
Have utd fans ever been divided in the general opinion.
The only other topic aside from moysie that polarises opinion so much is ANDERSON
Good performance today and great support for Moyes. I'd actually forgotten about the plane by the time the final whistle went.

Good result but another drab performance, no tempo to our game, Adnan looked lively when he came on.
We're so dull to watch

It is funny how every single football fan but arsenal fans so it coming
As much as people want Moyes out it does make me laugh that if it was not for the following results, we'd be sitting top: 7 games is the reason why we needed to have a plane fly over Old Trafford
Man United 1-2 West Brom
Man Utd 1-1 Southampton
Cardiff 2-2 Man United
Man United 0-1 Everton
Man United 0-1 Newcastle
Stoke 2-1 Man United
Man United 2-2 Fulham
I'm not saying that if Klopp wasn't available I would not drag him through the Eurotunnel, but if someone is telling me that we need to sack Moyes, because of these 7 results they are deluded.
The only reason I have lost some faith with him is because of his 'no playing style', playing footballers out of position and not having the cojones to stamp his authority and make the big calls.

its not a fine division; its mainly robb and one or two new posters or fans of other teams that argue for Moyes
I would say that the boo that greeted the plane shows more than just a small faction of fans willing to stand by the man.
I didn't think it was that drab.... I wonder if the commentary is skewing people's view a little (I thought they were very quick to praise Villa and silent when we did anything of note).
Mata and Kagawa combined well, we were solid... for the most part, we bossed the midfield for large chunks (!), Januzaj was really good.
This was with 45 minutes with Carrick at CB again, and Jones at RB.
We need to sack moyes cos he is a league or two below his competitors
The best and most tired analogy over the last week about moyes is that he is like a OAP with an iPhone, and that is exactly how I feel
Simply because we are not in the right place to be beating the top form teams, right now.

I'm not having that at all. Palace beat Chelsea today. We can't we compete against City/Liverpool at Old Trafford? There is absolutely no excuse for being turned over in both games the way we were.
Wins against WBA, West Ham and Villa are the expectation. We should be beating these teams because we have far, far superior players to them.
Where a United manager will earn his money is against the top teams. And so far, we have failed miserably in every game we have played against a good team (Arsenal at home aside). And when you look at Moyes' record against these teams in his Everton days, you've got to think it's due, at least in part, to his incompetence.
I would say that the boo that greeted the plane shows more than just a small faction of fans willing to stand by the man.
