General consensus is his finishing is woeful, that is nothing new. If you're judging him by that singular aspect of his game then you are doing him, and many other strikers (not that he plays there too often) a grave disservice.

What? Judging a striker mainly on his finishing is wrong? You do realise that a striker is expected to get most of the goals that his team scores don't you?
Looks like a theme between Arsenal and Liverpool Posters.......
Suarez is best player for them....(if he don't win the player of the year I will eat shít with a donkey)
Mertesacker for Arsenal.......

If that was what I said, you'd have a point. I said by judging him on only his shooting, is wrong. I didn't say it shouldn't be considered, but finishing, whilst probably the most important aspect of a striker, is not the only one.
Against teams like Bayern, where we're sat deep, you need someone with pace, who can hold the ball up, who can run at defenders and generally give them something to worry about. He plays that role well, and despite his lack of finishing, has pretty good technique.
To clarify, both you and I said the same thing - judge mostly on finishing, but don't disregard everything else about the player and only focus on that. His finishing also isn't as bad as people like to make out.
Biggest Dissapointment: mingolet... seriously his distribution is pants
-------------
Yes, his distribution is poor, but his performances hardly merit his the most disappointing. His distrubtion invites pressure at times which annoys me, but he has made up for this with superb shot stopping and handling. I love the way he he can hold difficult shots which other keepers fail to do.
Basically he has some obvious weaknesses and but equally he has some tremendous strengths to his game.

He seems to me, to be very similar to Joe Hart to be honest. Good shot stopper & positioning, occasional mistake, and awful distribution, but an all round solid keeper.
Player of the year - Debuchy
Young player of the year - None
Most improved player - Debuchy
Worst player - Santon
Biggest Dissapointment - Ben Arfa
Rap
Welbeck has started 9 games this year, with only 4 at centre forward, and he's scored 3 goals
In December he made 6 starts, all as a centre forward, and scored 5
So, if you are judging Danny as a centre forward, since the beginning of December, he has made 15 starts, 10 as a centre forward, and he's scored 8 goals in thet time
