Although the Post is informed that the money involved in this case is closer to £200k than the £9m reported in a national newspaper.
A club spokesman said that the club are working to address the outstanding issues.
“The club are going through a period of reconciliation with their accounts,” he said. “Once the accounts are all finalised, all outstanding monies will be paid.”
Don't ruin it for them Ray
You can be bankrupted for £200k as easily as for £9m, kids.
I could understand being wound up for £9m, but for £200k? Fridge sales must have really bottomed out for you to be so perilously dangling by a financial thread.... your situation is worse than we thought!
Just say for arguments sake that we are not skint but are a bit dis-organised for the reasons I have suggested at least twice on here. It would then be a case of settling the invoices before it gets to a stage of being made bankrupt and would be a damn site easier to settle 200k to 9,000k
666, your contributions on this subject seem to be a "ner ner, ner ner ner you're skint" but surrounded by inane wording.
Maxed-out credit cards, unpaid hotel bills, unpaid bus companies, Reidy's burgers, and now failing to cough up ticket money.
A complete and utter shambles. Fridgy is building a castle on foundations of sand, and Sutton, Ray and all the usual suspects are only too keen to bury their heads in it.
For gods sake how many ceo's do you need to sign a cheque? It only takes 1 minute. If you have the cash?
1 minute...?
That's obviously some flamboyant motherbitch of a signature you've got there, Watnall!
Do you still use cheques?
Move with the times old boy
666,it's something I developed after years of end of month cheque signing.
Fortunately BACS now.
I doubt your lots use BACS, Redexe: probably CHAPS, given that you're cowboys and all! *
*I put the smiley in so you know it's a joke attempt.
Rubber cheques sent by pidgeon post.
Had the misfortune of seeing Fackwit on a TV interview last week. He looked a troubled man: nervous, uncomfortable and sweating like terrified pig.
Wondered what he'd give to turn the clock back before buying that relic of a joke club with pathetic support and throwing millions at it.
'Aspirations of playing in Europe'
'Billy Davies to us will be like Sir Alex Ferguson to Man Utd'
You couldn't make it up
666, never used a chap in my life.......
The £85000 was probably an oversight (albeit an embarrasing one). On the other one I don't think it is much to worry about. In the last almost two years we have also panicked about.
Fawaz filling the team with Kuwaiti players
The bounced debit card
The transfer embargo
and numerous other things
And guess what, they like the winding up petition have all reported first by man in the know John Percy.
If I'm not mistaken we were right on the car crash called "jimmy krankie "..... Simple extrapolation of our unnerving accuracy would therefore put Mr Rumbelows in the Paupers Gaol .

Yes you were right eventually about Billy but it would be interesting to know exactly what happened. I was always a big fan of his. I even agreeed upto a point on him not giving exclusive access to local medoa, his doing a press conference gave everyone listenibg including fans a chance to hear what he said first hand instead of a journalistic view.
However, towards the end he seemed to be losing it and finally picked a fight too far with Fawaz, I think yhe final straw was picking Halford up top against Donny above better choices. Fawaz could not sack him brfore the Derby game (a bit like Derby and Nige).
Ultimately he picked a fight too far, alright when you are winning but not a good idea when things rake a down turn.
We weren't right "eventually" about Billy. We were right ALL THE TIME, RIGHT FROM THE START!
We knows.
You were right but it was bleedin obvious to anyone with half a brain (even 666). It doesn't mean he couldn't have got us promoted though and I think we would have got more points from the last three games if he hadn't been sacked. But we'll never know and it's a good thing that he has gone because he was tarnashing our reputation. It's ok to have a mad owner or a nasty manager but both at the same time is a disaster. The sooner Fawaz gets someone in to run the club the better.
Fridgy will go for a big name after he sacks Pearce in about October. Who's the current Kuwaiti international manager?
The simple answer for bills not being paid could be that they do not have a purchase ledger clerk to process the purchase invoices through the purchase day book into the purchase ledger and subsequently produce the remittance advices needed to pay creditors. Very unprofessional.
Sorry Caniggia. That man had lost the plot and would of continued to make things worse.
I don't want to be compared to 666 in anyway but just like him and his Clough out campaign, I wish the man had never, ever set foot inside the ground. He's done a good job at ruining things on his own.
I agree with you that he needs some good financial men behind him and hopefully that will come very soon. Things need to move quickly so that bills are paid and things run smoothly off the pitch.
Your Billy was a virus. One of the worse. I hope he never gets another job at an English club again. Well, Leeds can have him if they want. Currently 16/1 to be their next downfall

Seen a lot of people giving it Billy big bananas because they've been "proven right about Billy" I'm not having it. For a start you can do that with any manager and there's a massive chance you'll be right eventually. I did it with young Clough. You know you can say you'll sack him, he'll fail you mark my words. At some point you're bound to be right, then you can say I told you so, you're all a bunch of idiots for supporting him blah blah blah.
But more importantly, yes Billy was acting like a massive div (as always, I rate him as a manager but never wanted him back) but the reason it's all gone wrong is injuries. Not Billy being a idiot and not Fawaz making bad decisions, just bad luck. Without that there's no doubt in my mind we'd still be top 6 a good chance we'd be as high as 2nd.
That's a nonsense, Sutton, and you know it
The plain facts are that the path King Billy was leading you down led unerringly to this very spot. It was completely unsustainable and, to be honest, not a single Ram in their wildest dreams believed he'd have got this bad, this quickly.
Terrible, horrible man and the only thing we agree on is the inevitable outcome. There are ways of getting relieved of your post, but King Billy always goes the same way.
