Unbelievable mate.

Another one, Vettel wins its his talent not the car, Hamilton wins, its the car, not the talent.

I would ignore the 'new' poster, he is tsheporam

If some of the things that people post on here amuse you then you should find the following gems hilarious.

For 2014, McLaren will not have the Mercedes engine

The 2013 McLaren will be faster because it is an evolution of the 2012 McLaren

Monaco is low downforce

Nico Rosberg is not good enough to win Monaco 2013

The last years of Michael Schumacher's career were a damp “squid”

The 2014 rules will result in Mercedes losing their power advantage

Colin Chapman was a genius

Jim Clark had “whims”

You have to watch a driver before you can comment on him

Lewis Hamilton has a dog on a lease

Felipe Massa's accident at hungary 09 leaving him with concussion was “ a little biff on the head from an oversized mattress spring

Very true, Daredevil.

I understand that everyone has their own personal biases when it comes to F1 drivers, I'm certainly no exception, but seeing people lashing out at some drivers to try and boost the image of their own favourite is just ridiculous.

T and a

i have always been amused by the user names that people call themselves on the various forums ---

remember one very very very pathetic character on the old bbc 606 that told everybody he was an old man in his sixties and admitted he was infatuated with lewis hamilton he then proceeded to call himself TANGLED UP IN LEW --
it actually made me feel sorry for the old man that he was so thick he never realised how much he had actually embarrassed himself by calling himself TANGLED UP IN LEW --

That is actually quite funny.

i am sure he has taken that from a Staind/Aaron Lewis song called Tangled up in you.
Beautiful song but if he liked that song i would imagine he would be younger than 60.

i may be worng but i doubt it.

Bluethruandthru - I'll tickle her bum (U11684)

The song was “Tangled Up In Blue” by Bob Dylan.

martial artist (U9033) is mentally ill. The members on the Arsenal forum know that he is bonkers.

Martial has a serious mental health problem with the presence of Lewis Hamilton. Not only does the existence of that person distress him but even the letters that make up his name causes the poor fool to burst into a childish fit.

Lew or Ham – the guy explodes.

OK he is a small man that is mentally ill with a intellect of a 7 year old child. He gets laughed at by 8 year old girls.

So I think we can understand his bitterness. But it was not Lewis Hamilton's fault that Martial is so small and is ridiculed.

Maybe his nurse will try to get him educated in English, grammar, punctuation and logic.

Hard work because he is so clueles.

I do not mind Vettel RAP, I just do not believe he is this all conquering supremo some think he is.

We have heard so many things about his supreme intellect, his ability to manage tyres better than everyone, his Senna like speed and all other superlatives.

When you assess these statements factually, you realise they are not accurate. However when you point this out, rather than debate the merits or demerits of the evidence, people stretch the truth then insult other drivers.

Makes no sense to me at all. Every single F1 driver has strengths and weaknesses, no one is perfect. When these weaknesses are identified or highlighted in the right fashion, then we can begin to have some serious debate on here.

I'm personally sick and tired of the endless bashing of drivers as well as the ridiculous over the top praise of some drivers

man devil

you have to bare in mind that the people that have said the things you mentioned about vettel are people within the sport ,giorgio ascanelli who has been chief engineer for many top drivers , horner himself , so you have to give those views the respect they deserve as they have forgotten more than we will ever know -

to now judge vettel on the last 3 races because of the set up issues he is now having with a new car is being premature in the extreme -

posted on 23/4/14

Martial but when other experts in the sport lavish Hamilton with praise, you rubbish them. That is not objective at all.

My doubts about Vettel have nothing to do with his current form, I've never really bought into the hype. If Hamilton or Alonso, even Rosberg and Button were in that RedBull (2009 - 2013), no one would beat them.

Using Webber as yardstick of measurement is something that I never subscribed to as well as he was nothing special.

Seb is a talented driver but I am not convinced he is as talented or as quick as many others on the grid. The only time when he was at RedBull that he really impressed me was at Singapore last year, where he was able to extract the maximum from the car as I do not believe he did (you can argue he never needed to).

I would just like us to have some good honest debate without belittling guys who are the best drivers in the world.

Surely we can do this without calling them names or insulting their intelligence

Social media enables stupid people to be stupid and post stupid views.

Driver Intelligence, tyre management fuel management, set up.

The motorsport forums are full of idiots slagging off various drivers. But the slaggers have one thing in common, they know nothing about F1

martial artist (U9033) and Drunken Hobo (U7360) know nothing about F1.

Not a single one of the few members on this forum that declares that Sebastian Vettel is great has ever explained why they think he is or come to his defence.

It has been left up to me.

Rotating his car. Not a single Sebastian Vettel fan knew what I was posting about.

Sebastian Vettel is struggling and I can discuss that with people that have F1 knowledge. But it becomes pointless when the 2 Hamilton haters on ja606 (martial artist (U9033) and Drunken Hobo (U7360) actually are not interested in F1 but are just using the forum to further their personal hatred.

Hamilton has a girl friend, a dog and an earring. = BAD driver

Vettel is young and speaks English = greatest driver ever.

So I will invite the Sebastian Vettel fans to produce an article on this forum to explain why you think Sebastian Vettel is better than Daniel Ricciardo. Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Max Chilton.

Lewis Hamilton:
""""Good race - entirely his own doing
Bad race - entirely the team's fault

Jenson Button:
Good race - entirely the team's doing
Bad race - entirely his own fault""""

Since leaving McLaren Hamilton has had four wins. How many has Button had? I was watching the review of the 2009 season the other day. I had forgotten Hamilton was leading Valencia. He had turned towards, and may have actually been in, the pit lane, when they told him to stay out! He arrived at the pits and they scrabbled around for a set of wheels. Hamilton finished second. If not for the teams incompetance ( which has risen to extraodinary heights the past few years) it would have been an easy win, one of many Hamilton could have got, at McLaren. Lately McLaren spend the Winter developing the worst car on the grid, which becomes the best cat on the grid by the end of the season, or remains a dog throughout, or they build the finest car on the grid and have completely squandered it by mid-season. So yes, (IMO) there is some actual truth in what you say. Button does on occasion seem too redy to accept second best. Being at McLaren he is in the right place to find it, at the moment. I have wondered if, in their intense battle, some members of one team were also paid by a rival team. Meanwhile Red Bull, and now Mercedes have got on with the job in hand.
