Quite amazing really that Wolves have only conceded 31 this season and Rotherham have scored 7 of them. So in that respect Rotherham must be the best team we have played. But Orient have been in the top 3 pretty well all season so they probably deserve it
Orient were better than both Rotherham and Preston when they played us, and were a little unlucky to hit a bad patch.
If we beat them, then we'll win the play offs.
For what its worth, here is the head to head for the 4 teams involved.
Peterborough. 3-0-3 9pts
Preston.......... 2-3-1 9pts
Rotherham......2-2-2 8pts
Orient..............2-1-3 7pts
And last ten games form.....
Rotherham 20pts
Preston......17pts
posh...........16pts
Orient..........12pts
Play offs are a lottery really and neither the form team or the best team would be hot favourites. Assombalonga is a big asset for posh but they need to score goals cause they concede far too many
And the first 40 games?
Orient have re-grouped and will be unstoppable.
No, I absolutely despise Liverpool. Their precious fans set English football back for years when getting ALL our clubs banned because of their behaviour. Of course, they put the blame on everybody else.
Definitely DJ, wouldn't put much cash on any of them to be honest.
Also i can only see one of them establishing themselves in the championship should they be promoted, and thats Preston.
UH
fair summary of my thoughts
I think the play-off final will go to penalties.
Lottery.
My money would be on Rotherham
Didn't Wolves fans and a few others have bans at certain grounds not too long ago?

Yes - and Wolves suffered because of it.
When Liverpool do it, the entire country has to suffer.
Don't bet on Ferguson losing the play-offs! Trouble is that if Posh DO get promoted, and Assombalonga is sold during the summer, will Posh supporters have to endure yet another dreary season in the Championship? If yes, I would rather Posh stay where they are and re-group.
Deacon, how would you sum up Assombalonga? Think he'll keep scoring at next level? How do you rate him compared to Gayle? Do you think he's good enough to attract bottom end Prem clubs or will he need to show some Champ form first?
Good luck in the play offs. Think your cup success shows you are serious contenders and you've found some good form since Fergie did a Sherwood and questioned whether he could rely on half the players.
DB, I don't think we will sell Assombalonga if we get promoted as we will need him to stand a chance of surviving in the Championship.
As for surviving in the Championship with or without him, we had better players and were still relegated. However, football being illogical, the fact that we have worse players this time round may mean that we will not end up being relegated.
Lizard, you can sum Assombalonga up with the words "he scores goals". As for scoring goals in the Championship/Premiership, that summing up may not apply, although playing for a different club he would probably get better service. He's got a better build than Gayle, but I think that Gayle is the better player. Whether Gayle is the better scorer is another matter, although he put away last night's goals very nicely and scored a potential goal-of-the-season earlier on in the season.
Gayle did well last night but before that had got 3 goals in 21 games for Palace so dont be fooled by one good day at the office
Assombalonga is a goal poacher, whether he would be able to live up to his League One goal getting success against superior opposition in the Championship, is another matter. I hope he does stay with Posh, even if there is no promotion for us. We'd now be around middle of the League One table without him.
I like Dwight Gayle. He's an intelligent footballer with a very bright future, I can't see him staying with Crystal Palace for too long, especially after his two well taken goals against Liverpool.
Most of Gayle's appearances were as a late sub, Pulis preferring to use older more experienced players to rescue Palace. I think we'll be seeing more of him next season.
