"On one occasion, two prominent officials were allegedly caught snorting cocaine in the boardroom of a rival club during an away fixture"
Long shot, but any chance we could be the away team involved, and it's not actually any of our lot doing it? But the installation of cameras was just in case?
"A high profile figure with a considerable reputation"
Certainly can't be describing any of the GFH lot involved in our club! lol. Could be medicinal for Lorro though.
Is it true that it was Cellino that was taking the cocaine and is now staying out of the way so as not to be involved with the police?
Just something I've heard from a couple of places.
Doesn't sound right Spike, timing for example.
What Haigh says doesn't ring true either I'm afraid.
Agree with jonty,
If it was cellino he wont be going back to the states thats for sure, ala, nigella lawson.
Haigh trying to deflect away from the real reason why he had the cameras installed.
Wouldn't be surprised if Bates name pops up eventually.
My congratulations to Jonty for sticking up for Cellino
I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of Haigh's mouth!
He's just trying to justify his spying without dropping himself and the real benefactor in the carp!
If it was Cellino why would he report it to the police? Surely if he knew he was on camera taking drugs then he would also know it would eventually come out.
Can our club get any lower? Haigh is dragging us back into the mud as best he can!
Could this tie in with Bates little office opposite ER that was spoken about? WiFi from camera to pc. What a little scoundrel!
In all honesty do any posters on here think anyone associated with the ownership of Leeds in the last 10+ years cares at all about the fans? Truly?
Or do you think they regard us all with the same love and affection Tesco regard their shoppers, with the added knowledge that - unlike Tescos - there is no alternative supplier of football entertainment we are going to "shop" at?
maybe it could spike, I have no idea, but the speculation does make life interesting
As I say, no idea, but it would be highly amusing if it turned out to be the case
From day dotnof this Cellino debacle, suits at Elland rd and the Fa have tried to hamstring and destroy Cellini's bid. He went on the record as saying that the club was rotten and Bates was behind it all.
Its quite clear that someone or some ppl are scared of what Cellino will unravel at Leeds. Cameras, drugs, and possible fraud!?! Whatever has been going on at our club is about to be aired and I for one cannot wait.
agree Mike............shame it is going to 'tarnish' the good name of LUFC in the football world
That's one interpretation Mike, yes. Let's hope it's not Cellino / associates who turns out to be the bad guys
This is a terrible mess all round - we really needed a fresh start and to get out of this mire. I fear this is going to continue for years yet
BM put the blame for the rubbish performances this season on off field events. So we know he is incapable of stopping such things from having a negative impact on the team.
If this drug scandal turns into a court case or two then it will drag on for months and we will probably find BM blaming the poor start to next season on that.
