We don't want to be throwing the baby out with the bathwater to spite our face, if I may mix my metaphors...

Let's see how the players who have coped well in Division 3 manage the step-up. Some we already know will be okay - Stearman and Ikeme to name but two.

I'm sure KJ will look at the situation in a measured and balanced way now he's getting the hang of the job.

“I have been surprised though that nobody has taken him. It is hard to tell why. I am genuinely surprised because he has a lot of footballing ability.”

I’m surprised Kenny is surprised. If you label a player such a trouble maker that you want to isolate him from your first team squad and then backtrack on that and include him and then drop him again because he isn’t good enough for the 3rd division it’s hardly likely to tempt clubs into taking him is it?

We have announced to the world that O’Hara is not only trouble but also shít and then we expect a queue

I think that JOH has been badly treated at Wolves. Yes, some of it has been self-induced but some hasn't.

When fit, he was as good as any midfielder in clubs in the lower half of the Premier League. Unfortunately, he wasn't fit enough over the past three years. Continually injured and brought back into the team too soon.
A similar situation to Dave Edwards who also came in for some unwarranted criticism. Just like Dave, with a long run in the team, Jamie would have performed well.
Unlike Dave, Jamie has a high profile and is never out of the press which often does him no favours.

I still believe that there is a good footballer somewhere in JOH. Unfortunately it looks likely that some club other than Wolves will be the one to find it.

I do feel the situation has been orchestrated by the club to some extent. They want certain players off the books and gone, but realise they have contractual obligations, and therefore are using the classic cold-shoulder tactic.

Doesn't sit comfortably with me.

Regarding JOH the only time he played well consistently for us was while he was on loan, it seemed as soon as he signed his mega bucks contract it was all down hill from there.

There is no doubt if he showed that ability again he would be an asset, but there is not a cat in hells chance that the fans will acept him back especially how this season has gone and the signings Kenny has made.

So in kenny we trust, bye Jamie

I see O'hara was the only player not to attend the end of season dinner, in which Steve Morgan gave Kenny 100% backing from the board to mount a promotion challenge.

Fifty-five per cent of the near-4,000 votes cast in an Express & Star poll this week asking ‘Should O’Hara be in Wolves’ first team?’ said yes, with the remaining 45 per cent preferring him to be kept in exile, writes Tim Nash.

Assume you're responding to perton's posts., Tatts.

I can't see them as I have him filtered, but I'm sure that you know, perton speaks for "the fans" at Molineux.

There is no way we can say for certain that the so called 4,000 were Wolves fans, plus that poll was taken in October last year. I seem to remember you not placing too much reliance on that poll when it came out.

I didn’t want him back at the time Shaky and I don’t want him back now however I, unlike Perton, don’t have the arrogance to assume I speak for every Wolves fan

Wolfie are you talking about the poll in the e&s?

If anyone thinks that all the people that voted in that poll are wolves fans they are complete tw@ts.

They should go to the games and listen to the opininon of the fans to find out how fans feel about ohara

I cant see what was said after my comments as I have filtered twatter and cup

I love to write a comment straight after one of Puppets as i know it means he has to log out to see what I wrote and then log back in to make a comment pretending he hasn’t read my comment.

Anything that causes him a slight inconvenience brings me a small amount of pleasure.

I hope we get some business done early regarding offloading players, but being a world cup year that may be easier said than done, things tend to move slower.

To ostracise players whether you agree with the reasons behind it or not is certainly a strange way to go about things.

Kenny reckons it could be mid June or beyond before the "outcasts" future is decided:

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2014/05/09/no-soap-opera-at-wolves-as-kenny-jackett-casts-eye-over-outcasts-future/

He also says: Bjorn Sigurdarson will remain at Molde until November, with a permanent deal in the offing if he does well.

Expect to see him back in time for bonfire night then!

I’ve read that article more than once now Cyp and I still can’t work out what on earth this means......

“But from speaking to the people I work for, if we start on June 25, we could almost leave that until June 18 or 20th.
“If I assess the situation a week before we come back, I think then we’ll have a clearer view.”

What is he assessing a week before pre-season? Whether he wants them? Whether we’ve had any interest? The quality of his holiday photos?

posted on 9/5/14

A little confusing but i assume we will have a clear indication from the clubs that loaned our players as to whether they want to pursue a permanant deal at that point.

Siggy started well 2 goals in 3 but unfortunately got injured and been out for around 4 games now, he will get a deal quite comfortably i suspect.

Hope you’re right.

O'Hara not at the end of season dinner........just more evidence that he isn't as focused as he should be and his needy wife takes up more time than she should, lets guess, was it Dubai?

I’m not sure I blame him to be honest. I think his presence may have put a dampener on the evening and for the first time in a while I assume this do had a very positive and celebratory atmosphere.
