Wont mean much, Boris has already said he will disregard the rule of law.

I see a massive constitutional issue building, i dont expect our form of parliamentary democracy to survive it.

Dragging the Queen into it shows what a farce this has become.

Or has it highlighted how ineffective the constitutional position of the Monarchy is?

Both, I forsee an elected upper house to replace the monarchy, I imagine it will be elected by way of an AV system, and i also expect to see that pushed for in the lower house too.

Our parliamentary system has been broken by those who are seeking to abuse power to force a leave vote, we are representative democracy and they seem hell bent on telling the electorate we are a direct democracy, something will have to give.

Do we really want two elected chambers?

Then you've got 2 sets of people only behaving in such a way that they retain their seat, not in the best interests of the country.

Frankly I like that the upper chamber is unelected.

Its elected by birthright and directly by any government of the day.. We are the only western democracy without an elected upper house, its insane and a throwback to serfdom.

I agree with it, just because it's the only western democracy without it doesn't mean it should be so.

I don't agree it should be hereditary but nominated by the government / shadow government.

Some of the younger politician are seemingly in it for vocational reasons which is great.

Also young people are shunning main stream media and actually looking for the truth which which change things massively.

I don't know if anyone has seen the two different copies of the S*n made last week for the north and south. Should be illegal.
