A great arrangement all round.
We’re due a good performance at old Trafford.
I’ve got a feeling it’ll be a Sadio Mane day.
They're going to park the bus and scrape a 0-0 or 1-1 draw which will be hailed as a tactical masterclass from Ole.
Nah Mane looks too horny to settle for a draw, agree with Metro. Mane looked so sharp against Brazil, was toying with them
Sunday feels like the day when Man City won 6-1 there. i'd happily take 5-1.
I'd take 3 points however it comes against the Manc's. I think it'll be 1-3 to us. I wonder what condition everyone comes back in. We are notoriously bad after an international break, here's hoping we break that bad habit and smash em at the theatre of broken dreams.

I find that hard to believe considering we have lost one game in about 50.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Playing poorly doesn't necessarily amount to losing. Because that's not what I said is it.
Most of our players if not all are done with International football and its Tuesday. Back in the day when the south Americans used to come back on Friday a day before the game are long gone.
Players have time to rest and be ready for the game plan.

I don't want to smash them. Would be nice but I'd take even a 0-1 right now.
Keep Ole in the job, keep the mancs hopeful in their current project which to me looks doomed.
If we smash them Ole will be sacked in the morning and they could get someone who knows how to manage to replace him.
It ain't broke from where we're sitting so no need to fix it.

Aye, but it is a rare event (well it is in my lifetime) that we're going into this game full of confidence that we should be smashing these. But yeah, it could well vee a scabby 0-1 win, which I would also take all day long as 3 points is 3 points no matter how you get em.
But seeing that lot crying is what we strive for as fans so a good smashing would be ace. I mean, they could sack Ole and hire Big Sam, which is why I think it would be worth dishing out a spanking irrespective of whether Ole gets the sack because who can they reasonably hire to take this job now? They're a mess and any self respecting decent manager wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Especially with the Glazer/Ed constraints that the previous management has had there.
Either way 3 points is all that matters, the performance is a bonus.

After the last round of international fixtures we beat Newcastle 3-1, don’t think we were notoriously bad in that game.

I don't think we're notoriously bad at all, considering what notoriously actually means. Maybe we have had a couple of average performances after internationals but that certainly doesn't mean that we have an issue that is notorious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d agree.

In 2017-2018 season we lost 5-0 to Man City and that was straight after an international break and also beaten 4-0 in 2015. We've also played Tottenham Hotspur 4x times after international breaks since 2015. In 2015 we drew 1-1 and in 2016 was the same. Last year was different as we beat them home and away. And I also believe the games with man United have been goalless draws in 16 & 17. So you could say, we've improved alot, but before last season it was indifferent. Maybe I am having a perception that we always play badly, but we've certainly had our share of injuries after international breaks as well.
So I suppose after reviewing the above fixtures it's only become better since last season. So i don't think my comment after analysis is erroneous on the whole, but I am maybe keeping in my mind that we are bad after international breaks because of previous years which is giving me that perception.
I’d say the Mane red card had more to do with that loss than the international break.
