I’d rather we brought him back than let him go there

Feckin idiot. The solution isn’t to sell him, it’s not overplaying him that will reduce his injuries. This latest one is a fatigue injury, simple.

Spurs aren't known for logical solutions as demonstrated by Sandy. He'll be asking for José out by the end of the season.

Spurs have really, really badly facked up the last 2-3 years you have to say, having once had a great side. Management have made some terrible decisions in that time.

Hilarious to watch for us as rivals but should serve as a lesson to us going forward now we are in a similar position to what they were.

I think they know they’ve got to do it like United used to do it spend big on the quality when we have to to keep us where we are.

Or I hope they do!

They will spend money but I think they will wait to the summer to spend big.
I can’t see Jose going anywhere without having some assurances re a spending kitty.

Our policy going forward won't change a huge amount, but good players with a higher ceiling, hope they work out, sell them for megabucks then buy another couple and see which one breaks the £200m mark.

I do hope we will continue to commit more funds to one or two roles rather than buying in 4 players though, keeps the team settled and the quality high

As far players not being fully committed in wanting to join us Ole is part of the problem he just doesn’t have the Charisma and influence of managers like Klopp and Pep.
We are a real low rent outfit these days and our appeal get less every incompetent week to players ,the words Raiola spoke about the club having no direction are unfortunately true, injuries are the latest reason for failure but the reality is we planned to fail by letting experienced player go and not replacing them just coming up with cheap answers as we did with the managers appointment.
Love Ole as a person but I expect absolutely nothing to come out of it apart from more drifting to obscurity while Liverpool who are the exact opposite in knowing what they want and how consolidate their place back on the perch we once proudly sat on.

Gives you a little tingle doesn’t it?

Under Ole they will have the same issues we had under brendan.

Think BR actually knows what he’s doing, he’s a very good coach that looks like he can motivate a squad.

Ole is completely out of his depth.

Agreed. But I don't think he'll ever get them playing good football consistently like Brendan did with us. Great init 😁
