Whats the reason you don't rate Larouci? Another one thats always done well when got minutes imo.

With Neco you can see his quality with the way he strikes the ball, crosses and defensively he is sound.
Larouci has a great engine but from what I have seen he lacks quality with his delivery and is defensively suspect.

At 19 these lads are gonna need time and exp to improve their defensive side of the game regardless of their current defensive abilities. Gomez at 23 n TAA few years ahead still do and probably will do until theyre reaching the peak of a def 28+ usually.
Theres also Adam Lewis on that side too?

Fair point. I guess I am looking more at now. Neco looks a decent backup for TAA but Robbo still has no backup other than the very reluctant Milner which is not ideal.

City Liverpool will be at the Etihad.
I'd take coutinho back, stick him in midfield, hes far better than ox and we miss his creativity, he can slide a ball through or spank one in from range. We miss the dimensions he gave us. Teams knowing he will smash them on consistently from 25 yards forces them to close him and create space. We have gone up a gear since he left, but that's because our defence has gone from 5/10 to 10/10. More than making up for the drop in attacking quality.
Id be well keen on adama traore and we need backup for robbo, be it a youngster or a signing.
If lallana shaq and origi go, with cout traore and possibly a LB coming in we would be getting proper city like depth.

Klopp did this gradually the last 5 years. I remember when Houllier bought below average players like Diouf, Diao, Cheyrou, Pongolle, Le Tallec and Cisse which set us a few years back.
The two big transfers were VVD and Alisson which were financed by the Coutinho money.
Bournemouth buying our crap players also helped buying Keita.
Don't forget Palace, they paid handsomely for Sakho & Tekkers
Also, it's nice to see Ings has found his level @ Saints. They got themselves a bargain there.
