KdB is (comfortably) the best midfielder in the league but football has never been an individual sport, it’s the team that matters.
I’m surprised Murphy fails to understand the dynamic of the whole group given the regularity with which he found himself sat on the bench.
Matip’s injury proving once again he can’t be relied upon to stay fit. We could really do with another centre back.

Especially if Lovren leaves this summer. We'd definitely need another option unless Klopp seriously rates Hoever.
Won the title, so if gomez or vvd need a rest give him a shot, we already know what lovren offers

Was reading somewhere that Hoever has not had the expected growth spurt to become a CB which is why he played right back for us in some of the rare games.

That's deeply unfortunate for the lad given our RB probably has the position nailed for the next decade
Hoever does seem small for a centre back. Fantastic footballing ability though so maybe he moves elsewhere.
howe was almost made manager after rodgers
imagine where we'd be if klopp stuck to his sabbatical

Howe is no Klopp obviously but is an exceptional manager. He has worked miracles at Bournemouth.
One of our physios Lee Nobes posted a photo on Instagram of him wearing a back to front Liverpool top with Champions 19-20 on it, and Fabian Delph liked it and commented "love it mate". Everton fans seething
He worked for City previously so there's the connection.

So Fred is just going to talk shiiit but not drop any of the countless articles from The Athletic
What do you reckon guys, are United back?
Personally I just think its that time of the year where easy wins are possible and there is no pressure in games. Different ball game when at the teams start on 0 points.
Fernandes is making an impact so they will be more competitive.
I wouldn't say they're back but they appear to be heading in the right direction unfortunately. Still think they're a few quality signings off mounting a proper title challenge though, especially if we can maintain the kind of consistency we showed for the past two seasons.

What miracles has he worked? He did great to get them up but he has spent on average over 50 million every season since they came up with lots of high wages. They shouldn't be struggling with what he has spent there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The miracle was that he spent £20m on Solanke

If they get Sancho then i will be worried. Maybe an upgrade on Lidloff. At the moment its just end of season form after they failed the majority of the season.
Utd playing some decent footy but who have they played since the restart?
Spurs first game back and Spurs were the better team and Utd need a pen to draw!
Sheffield United who look a totally different side since coming back.
Norwich who are absolute sh!te and at times on Saturday out played them for long periods, an injury time winner.
Brighton were they played well!
They look much better with Rashford, martial, pogba and Fernandes all on the pitch together. If they can add a quality right winger, centre half and maybe another attacker then they’ll be starting to build a bit of a squad.
Ole is still the thing that will ultimately hold them back imo
The test will be when they play the top sides next season
They have won twice against Man City but it was counter attacking football and defend for 90 minutes like a burnley. I don't see them dominating against the top teams.
Stolen from twitter:
Man United just need 13 points from 18 now to avoid having their worst PL points total ever.
They're back.

Picked them up at the bottom of league two just as they were about to go bust. Their promotion to the championship was one of the biggest days in the clubs history, they'd only made the second tier for one season prior and he then won the championship and they've been solid in the PL ever since until now.
It's a league one club, it's miraculous they even made it to the PL let alone staying up.
On another note what the hell happened to Spurs? They were a decent side for some of last season that I remember, CL finalists and now they are 41 points behind us. That's staggering.
Oh by the way, Fred is back baby.
Sorry RAP.
