werner value as well, I think 9 million
sanchos wages are mad, but united can easily afford it
pissed off with rodgers even more now, they were going to take a large hit on some sponsorships for not getting into the cl again useless cant
Winning Europa will cost them with player burnout.
theyll get more time off if they do anyway

Could bite them though if they're starting later given the Euros are next summer. Means they'll have to fit a whole season in from Oct-May
300k for Sancho is madness. But it's going to go one of two ways, he will either ruin his career or they will be an absolute force next year.

Or they'll stunt the growth of Greenwood and continue to have issues in defence and in goal. Their front four should be sorted for years so only a matter of time before they sort the rest out.
Well we have the added issue of FFP being dead in the water now. United will spend what they need too, and appeal any fines or bans safe in the knowledge that CAS rules in favour of the clubs
Reddy says we're looking at Jamal Lewis for left back cover for around £10m

Would be good cover. Have watched him a lot for Northern Ireland and he has a good balance between attack and defence. Fee will probably end up closer to £20m.

This is generally how transfers work. One team wants one price, the other offers lower and then they negotiate.
Be a good signing. I expect we have already advanced things if the likes of Maddock and Reddy are reporting it.
£10m seems too good to be true, surely will cost more.
Maddock is saying Norwich are interested in Larouci so could be money plus him maybe.
Lewis is an odd one. He’s ok, lot to learn still, but would going to Liverpool, where there are already 2 of the worlds best full backs, be a wise career move?
He could easily challenge fir a starting role at many Prem teams. Does he really want to warm our bench?

Make more sense for Norwich to get all the fee for Lewis and arrange a loan for Larouci.

I agree. I think it would be a good signing for us, but not sure the best move for him.
However like i said the other day, Robbo has played a tonne of football and really needs to have more rests else we risk burning out his seemingly never ending battery. So maybe Lewis would get a fair chunk of game time?
He might really rate himself too and think he could displace Robbo.

Would actually love it if he came and had a sizeable match bonus. Shows he is a hungry player.
When Robbo came he was literally a bit part player for 6-8 months while he got up to Klopps standard.
The opportunity to play for Liverpool is far greater than worrying how much game time he will get. Next season Klopp will have to rotate more and Robbo is one player who needs a rest every now and then.

Its also only a matter of time before we lose another star player, its pretty much how we fund our major transfers.. So we need to keep bringing on promising youth.
Certainly wouldn't be surprised to see one of the very top teams after our Fullbacks in the next year or two.
