I don’t know much about him tbh. I’d say there’s more than a whiff of desperation about United fans, and you can’t blame them really.

I think they’ll be fine with it. It’s not the fans who have signed the wrong players and I’m sure most of them will welcome a strong, clear long term approach to signings.

Good point, however he didn't sign them alone, did he? Will he have as effective a structure at United as he had at previous clubs? Also, how many duds did he sign along with those top players?

I like Rangnick, but the biggest club he’s managed is Schalke. If he is as incredible as people have been making out he’d have been at a much bigger club.

Also apart from an interim role at Leipzig in 2018, he hasn’t properly managed since 2016.

What he excelled at wasn't the managing side though hes not half bad at that either, he'd probably tell you hes not the best at that himself. And yeah hes not done it at a club as big before etc. But he knows his stuff and will implement a very good footballing model and get the right people in and sort them out top to bottom and probably find them a very good young talented manager too.

A model/philosophy not only for managers to follow but clubs. And a of managers have and a lot of clubs have taken a lot of his ideas and had a lot of success from them. Reason we ended up with a lot of his former players is because our model targets similar attributes from players to fit an also similar system in many ways.

I think Spurs would have been a better fit but Levy is far too power hungry i guess. Yet to be seen if that model can work for a club like Utd because its quite a shift in model, be interesting to see if they continue to go for big names or shift to unearthing them etc. How much resistance will be met from the board/fans especially if its a slow process which usually is before you see changes. But theyve got incredible financial power so no doubt it should go faster/smoother than for example Klopp had for us or Rangnick had at previous clubs, their squads arguably a lot more talented than himself or Klopp inherited too.

What exactly happened to curtis jones? Did i miss something?

Anyway we are down to just 5 injuries atm with keita and gomez due bk too so elliott and jones?? with no return dates and bobby should be a week or so later. Little boost going the christmas period .

Still got that mysterious eye injury he picked up in a collision during training before the last international break.

Apparently it is the eye & not the socket.
