You get rid of 50 goals and 20 assists (including Mane here) then you have to accept that next season is a transition season then. Keep Salah and we should be challenging for league and CL. Would he a huge gamble to get into a new season with a brand new front 3.

Let's not forget Bobby too. All the heat is on Salah who at one point was Ballon dor level but Bobby has been on decline for a few years plus now injuries. He will also need replacing. Salah can't fund everyone so the owners and Klopp need to spend.

That was just a blip for me. He played too many games with no rest and had a insane AFCON with all those extra times. During this bad period he was still our 2nd top scorer and jumped above Trent and Robbo in the assists.

With Raphinha on the market for less than what we could get Salah for, if Real are interested then I wouldn't be against him going there for £60m considering he's off either way.

Diaz - Nunez - Raphinha

Would be a very interesting front line.

its going to happen sooner or later, if you can get 100m for salah and mane bedding replacements under klopp a year earlier its probably better than losing next year for nothing and having to do it anyway.

ofc i dont wanna lose salah id like him to sign a contract... If we can get 30+ goals out of him again for a last season and another trophy or two itll be worth. But if we dont get that and lose him for free itll hurt.

Have to remember we wont have klopp forever either, unless he keeps signing contract extensions we could do with him replacing this lot with the next now rather than at the end of Klopps contract.

Selling Salah and replacing him now would also give us a far better shot at Bellingham in 2023.

Good job we can wait until 23/24 as to who replaces Salah. Let's just enjoy his last season and not play football manager. If Nunez exceeds expectations and Diaz kicks on then that softens the blow. We don't need to break something that isn't broken for some accounting concerns.
