Didnt expect it either, he did say hes happy here and wants to stay but the agent sheit and even though he should be one of the top 5 earners in the sport our structure wouldn't allow it.

Yeah he's top 5 highest earning players according to Forbes, you have to remember he has seperate deals for his endorsements, and he makes a reasonable sum from them (nowhere near as much as Messi or Ronaldo, but more than Neymar)
