Bernardo Siva off to Barca apparently.
Jesus gone and Sterling to Chelsea almost done.
That’s a lot of goals and assists out of the city team for next season.

They've brought in Haaland who basically replaces Foden who was playing as a false 9 and will take Silva's positions in midfield or on the right, that guy from Argentina who will takes Jesus' place and will be replacing Fernandinho with Phillips. They will now need to get a player in for the left as Foden won't be able to play there, I'm sure the long term plan wasn't for him to play there anyhow.
This will likely be where they splash out. Wonder who they'll go for. Neymar perhaps
That's still a fair amount of change in their general set up which can be very disruptive.

Yes Haaland coming in changes them but then Nunez coming in will change us also.
I hope Silva is gone to Barca. The player who makes that City team tick. Press resistant, high intensity work rate, see his 13km running stat against us and a great football player who can link their midfield with the attack. Gundogan is the other one.
Carvalho is a player for us who can develop in that type of player if he improve his workrate.
Losing Bernardo is a bigger change than Haaland in for me. Don't think they've got anyone of the same quality for that Bernardo role.

Foden will take his place and he does the things Bernardo does well. Haaland is the bigger change as the won't be so much feeding off a false nine into the wide players and De Bruyne late runs, although Haaland will do a bit of that. Same with us and Nunez. City however are set up well for that in midfield. For me we need a bit more attack minded approach from midfield with Nunez in, as rather than him dropping into midfield as Firmino, Mane and Jota do, he'll be looking to run into space.
I'll always give us a chance but let's not kid ourselves into thinking City are going backwards or something

Bernardo practically wants to leave every summer but never does. He's getting very overrated here for a decent 2 months work last season. If KDB is leaving then we can have a conversation.
