----------------------------------------------------------------------
12th isn’t it, v United?
Inflict some early trauma on them
16m for neco isn't too bad
Thought it'd be Fulham, apparently they'd rather spunk 10m on Perreira from Utd?
Yeah especially considering no-one knows his favoured position
Apparently we agreed a 10m sale with Fulham but then revoked that deal because other clubs were offering more.
Hes a good player with a lot of ability, needed to work a lot on his defensive side. Wingback with a back 3 suits him and Forest used a 3-4-1-2 a lot last season. or a 5-2-1-2 however you wanna look at it. Obviously theyre losing Spence so a like for like replacement?
yeah djed is already gone, only had him on loan
New contract imminent for Gomez who wants to extend says Joyce.
Very good news, although bit of a tough one for the FSG accountants that wanted him sold this window.

This is really good news, still think he's our future CB with Konate.
what mentalist wants that to happen we'd have to go buy a new one anway

Great news. Like all other recent bias that gets displayed...people forget how good he is.
Now to sort out those fitness issues

need a spurs bid to happen for any chance of that
It would be another miracle if Matip lasts the season without injuries. Gomez will get more chances next season but he is still 4th choice.

Gomez is probably more injury prone than Matip bet hes spent more time out for sure.
impact vs muscle injuries really
More injuries rather than more time out would be more indicative of an injury prone player, no?
Not sure where Matip and Gomez stand on that.
according to transfermarkt gomez has missed 136 games due to injury/illness in since 2015/16 matip 98 since 2016.
Great to see Gomez signing, I thought he would have wanted to leave. Unlucky for him that Matip discovered some form and fitness but this is probably not likely to last.

Matip's injuries tend to be muscle injuries whereas Gomez has had two very bad injuries due to impact. Impact injuries are obviously just unlucky and don't tend to be a result of proneness to injury.

Yeah that's sort of where I was going with this.
Yeah but Gomez absolutely is injury prone.
