Two things I noticed yesterday, when we pressed the fullbacks it was usually quite aggressively with two or three players to win the ball back rather than channel it inside like we used to under Klopp.

Also, a lot more emphasis on build-up from goalkeeper. Against an aggressive pressing team like Arsenal, it nearly led to Kelleher giving up two goals. That said, Kelleher still went long quite a lot, I guess switching up since they had such a high line.

kelleher was just too sloppy/casual but also obviously gonna need a lot more time working on positions to receive the passes from playing out. Salah and Jota held it up quite well at times when he did go long, jota did brilliant for the first goal.

Palace ain't got £45m and won't pay the wages he will want.

With the caveat that you can never be 100% sure these websites have it right; Gomez is apparently on £85k pw with us.

CP pay Eze, Henderson, Kamada £100k pw and Edouard £90k pw. They even pay Joachim Andersen £80k pw.

There's no evidence or even rumour that they want him but if they did, wages shouldn't be a stumbling block. They could match or improve his contract without breaking structure.

I hope my draft opponents have their watchlists done.

I would suggest a minimum of 120 for obvious reasons.
