Hope you All have a fabtastic Day. I'm sure those of you who didn't succeed will get one in the end. I couldn't go this time around as my missus booked us to go to turkey but I will be watching and and cheering on the lads from there! What pjssed me off last time around was all the empty seats in that corperate band at wembley. If it wasn't for that each set of fans would get around another 8 to 10,000 each

The Arthur George Wall memorial stand in Sitges has 24 hour security cover already. We don't want to be dealing with incursions on match day!

Poor Colin, he's maintained such a positive spirit since he was diagnosed.

I'm afraid it's the Argie Jersey for me.

4 games attended=12 pts.

Goals for= 13
Goals against = 2.

And I didn't even see the 2, on my way to the bar against the dirties and in a sea of Rams at the hoardings for the Brighton one

I'm just hoping the match is as exciting as reading this thread as it happened

I'd still rather queue outside iPro than endure this free-for-all.

You know what to do in future then, 666.

If not a season ticket then at least invest in a 6 or 12 game plan. It wasn't a free-for-all - those fans who made a commitment to Derby County this season were guaranteed tickets - and that's how it should be.

A lot to be said with Eddie's statement above but there are always anomalies and exceptions.

I agree, View.

I hope that Fridge does turn up trumps somewhere along the line.

But what about a match thread View (see above)? There will be very few of us on it and perhaps we should be concentrating on the match. Maybe a post-match thread

Why did Baz have a comment removed

posted on 17/5/14

..and Baz's ...........

.......allocation of tickets dependent on WHO you know, (at Wembley or See Tickets) not the fact that you have a ST, half ST, a 6/12 Game Plan or Customer Number

And that disgusting empty swathe opposite the TV cameras in a central position....despicable....

The ticket allocation will never please everyone. Eddie is pretty much right though, and the club did the best it could. I know last time they kept a few back for special cases, that's how I got mine - complained because the site crashed as I was paying and the club sent me 3 in with the players families.
Season ticket holders should always get priority.

Well done to burton Albion who will also be going to Wembley....

How would that have affected today's general sale part, Eddie, ie the portion of the sale I specifically referred to?

That's correct: it wouldn't have, not a jot. You've seen me home and away but there are fans who will be at Wembley who haven't seen Derby since the Premier League clubs stopped turning up. At least queuing outside iPro demands some commitment: logging onto Seetickets is the same effort for everyone.

posted on 17/5/14

I agree with what you say about STHs deserving top priority Eddie.
I think it was unfortunate though that, probably due to streamlining the process, there wasn't an interim category of sales for those who hadn't bought STs, but had showed their committment by spending considerable amounts on tickets & merchandise on their dcfc accounts.
A lot of the fans 666 alludes to will have a lovely day out, but perhaps to the detriment of committed fans such as Fridge & Alvaston.

Queuing up is ridiculous.
What about people at work or who live 150 miles away?
Modern world with set criteria.

posted on 17/5/14

Peeder, remember that queuing was our national past time and we are the poorer for its sad decline

In fact, remembering family history, my Grandfather was part of the British Queuing team that took the gold medal at the 1920 Olympics in Antwerp. I have a photo somewhere.
