Teams promoted to the PL cannot use foreign players. Teams in the PL are allowed to have the same number of foreign players as places above 18th they end up at as the end of the season. So the 17th team is allowed 1, the champions allowed 17.

Foreign players have not had a negative effect on the English game. England reached just one final in the 40+ years before the PL was formed and all the foreigners arrived.

In other words, we were crÅp before and we havent got any better so far....

Foreign owners are the ones that need limiting!

If anything, the foreign players have dragged the standards up enormously, and the better home-grown players have benefitted.
