I know nothing about the South Koreans, Chinese, Qatarians or Chileans tbh.

Is Quintero not in the WC squad? Thought he was.

Stand by, although surprising he is named in both squads.

Not sure if the Colombian squad list I found is the final one, cannot find an official squad list for them or Portugal.

Any idea if Angelo Henriquez has made the Chile squad?

posted on 20/5/14

He isn't in the squad I can see, but it isn't an official squad.

None of the young players that starred for Chile’s under 20 team have been considered, with Nicolás Castillo selected for the Toulon tournament, while Bryan Rabello and Ángleo Henríquez have not showed the form required to make the list.

Ok tah. I'm surprised at that because he was in the first team at the under 20 world cup and has made a few appearances for the senior side.

From what I've read his form took a big dip in the second half of the season so perhaps that's had an influence.

Rabiot is a player to look out for I reckon as well. Has impressed me when I've seen him for PSG.

He wasn't in the original squad. No idea if England will replace Harry Kane though.

I think England's U21 squad is starting to look a little jaded. From the current squad only Chalobah, Redmond, maybe Zaha, Lingard and Ince, and Butland have great potential. Dier getting appearances for Sporting Lisbon at 19 is quite impressive but barely seen him. Even suggesting Butland and Lingard is pushing it. Which maybe isn't surprisng as all the stronger suspects have gone above this level (Stones, Barley, Shaw, Sterling, Jones, Flanagan, Chamberlain, etc.) and it is also just missing names that arguably might as well be going like Hughes, Wisdom, Lascelles, Carroll, Shelvey, and Powell.

And speaking of the the current U21s looking a bit jaded the next generation coming through i.e. U19, have just reached the final of the U19 Euro Championships. They'll be playing Holland/Scotland. Interesting that Scotland, Wales and England all reached the semis.

There are a few decent players in the U17s, judging by the Euros (final tomorrow btw).
We just have a bit of a gap caused by, as you say, the promotion of so many U21s to the senior squad.
