I never knew they did genres of football matches. Ours was a tragedy, this Brewers game is a comedy!
Yes Tommo, a nice touch by the Albion supporters.
They also had the good grace to lose to the better team, unlike those QPR tossbags
Hard luck Burton. At least you got to the final and gave it your best. See you next season.
Hard luck Brewers, feeing for you all.
I enjoyed my day out at wembley ,despite the result and the weather , we played our best and were beaten by a team who played well on the day , they snuffed out all our attacking threat and looked ever dangerous going forward. Good luck Fleetwood enjoy your stay in league one , personally im happy at the level we are at still boxing above our weight . Just something that made me smile ,there were 16000 fans in a massive stadium which lacked atmosphere especially high up as i was , we all had quite a treck to get to wembley , surely the Brittania stadium or Old Trafford would have been more than adiquate .

I'm probably being synical, but I assume the FA are still paying for new wembley, hence as many games as possible staged there.
I'd like to see the FA cup semi's moving back to Old Trafford etc, but it'll not happen because of the £££ towards Wembley
Hugo thirst it wasnt half the comedy of you lot,you couldnt beat 10 men with loads of time to play, what a bunch of clowns. We accept the loss gracefully why dont you.
Emnez, i made my comment during the match about the standard of football being played by both teams. Wouldn't have looked out of place over Shobnall .
It wasn't a reference to your loss. I was sat with friends and family watching the game and we were rooting for the brewers to do what Derby couldn't do two days previously.
I actually have a soft spot for Burton ,because you see,(drumroll) I am a Burtonion. However in the early 70's I was taken to the BBG and that was that. I've been to Eton park and the Pirelli stadium its just that.........
Since I was young....
enjoyed the game and thought Albion were getting more on top as the game went on it was a stupid foul that led to the goal and I wonder why lyness came out to mark their player that was the defences job where were they or was there player offside ? just a thought .Mcdonald looked unfit and slow to is normal pace so did zeli when he came on. Or well I can start looking forward to another season in div 2 and very proud of the team they did very well
Point taken Hugo you caught me on a low,no hard feelings. What we in league 2 expect is a lower standard of football you dont in the championship. We have not got the money to splash hundreds of thousands on players and pay managers top wages. We have made lots of progress in the past few seasons and i get fed up if i see negative comments, its not warranted.Gary Rowett has done wonders for our club and should be commended long may it continue. Please feel free to comment on our forum the more the merrier it makes for interesting reading.
Emnez, glad that's cleared up. I can only say that I feel your pain to be on the losing side at Wembley!
As for Gary Rowett, I've always thought he's a top bloke, ex DCFC player and match commentator, straight talker and tells it how it is.
Anyway, best of luck for next season, let's hope it ends on a happier note for all of us
