If we did this we could use the money (30 million) which we otherwise would have spent on Fabregas to bring in a very good striker who we desperately need.
And I'm not talking about Steven Fletcher XD
What rationale is there for getting rid of Ozil, when there is no requirement to do so?

Fack no.
Both please.

why are people obsessed to have only one or the other? We can have both. We are crying for depths in the team and competition all day long but some of you cant thinking beyond it.

Ozil is past his best

Go away please
Cesc is the better player but to challenge on all fronts we need both of them. We all know injuries will mount up as the season wears on so the more quality players obviously the better.
I think most will agree that signing Cesc is not a priority, but at the same time a player of his calibre being available is too good to turn down.
But regardless of what we think, if the club decides to buy or not, there's nothing we can do about it
Will people just quit going on about Fabregas!
Say NO to Cesc!
Ridiculous argument.
Needlessly replacing of one of our best players to facilitate the purchase of another (when we could afford Fabregas four times over) does not represent improvement.
Gt, he's a still a good player, he's just past his peak now

the guy didnt even reach his prime you melon.
As people have said, why swap when we could have both?
On whether we should sign Cesc, if he came in he would instantly be our best player. I don't understand how anyone could say no to that, regardless of what position he plays, especially at a 'reasonable' price for today's market.

Also unsure what relevance Ozil’s contribution to the German national side (in a friendly) has to do with this thread?
His name is in the title?
I wouldn't swap ozil no chance when there is so much more to come from him
Surely you would be better off swapping Ramsey for Fabregas?
