We have a slim chance of getting through.
Italy SHOULD beat Costa Rica (but then they should have beat New Zealand and Slovakia at the last World Cup, and should have beat Luxembourg the other week).
Italy beating Uruguay is far more up in the air. Firstly, both team will know a draw probably gets them through. Secondly, neither team will be too worried about winning the group because they won't be scared of Colombia or Ivory Coast.
Uruguay have beaten Colombia 5 times in the last 7 meetings. Italy never fear anyone.
If Costa Rica were to take the lead against us then their dull draw scenario might not be an option, but then we would be losing anyway so it wouldn't do us any good!
I would say the qualification chances are:
Italy 9/10
Uruguay 6/10
Costa Rica 4/10
England 2/10

probably 50/50 chance
