Suarez is a dirty dog like maradona was, but he is pure comedy gold too. Luis Suarez

You keep adding words to suit your own agenda.
I haven't mentioned 'worst' offenders.
And you claim not to have seen any quotes about defoe's bite being laughed off and not taken too seriously, well here's a couple of websites with quotes on that do exactly that so you have now...
Spurs boss Martin Jol described Defoe's bite as a "comical nibble".
"He was nibbling his arm - there will be no mark. Ask Mascherano if he has got a mark," said Jol.
"It is part of the game. They kicked him three times from behind in 10 minutes and he wanted to show his frustration in a nice, comical way."

Defoe felt his actions had been "blown out of all proportion".
"The referee was standing over me and if he felt I had done something bad he would have sent me off," said the 24-year-old.
"It doesn't look great on TV and I accept that I have a responsibility to conduct myself in the right way.
"When the West Ham player fouled me, I reacted in a bit of a mischievous way - my character is a little like that at times."
Here's another bbc sport report on the game in which defoe's biting incident occured.
And how was it decribed by the BBC....."the incident was not far off the most noteworthy action of the half."
Hardly the same condemnation as offered to Suarez is it.

It's not because it's Suarez, it's because he has now bitten three different players on the pitch. It's just weird. You can't seriously think if Rooney or Messi or anyone else had done similar, it wouldn't also be newsworthy?!

You'll need to show me where I said it isn't newsworthy.
"You'll need to show me where I said it isn't newsworthy."
Ok, any less acceptable then. What exactly did you mean by saying it's only because it's Suarez?
"What exactly did you mean by saying it's only because it's Suarez?"

The degree of hate being spouted by the media.
The levels of indignation and calls for a permanent ban, 2 year ban, decapitation etc.
Suarez should be, and quite rightly will be, punished for biting the italian.
But can you imagine rooney getting this much hate from the media. He's made several tackles/assaults on other players that were far more damaging than merely a bite and yet gets none of this abuse.
The press love their pantomime villains i'm afraid.

Rooney gets plenty of hate from the media.
" You're still flailing."
No but you're still talking shít I see.
Rooney never got any heat that was way over the top.
If that's your best shot then no wonder you're such a poor poster on here.
What the feck has beckham got to do with it. When did he enter the conversation.

There are some sections of the media that are going off him but to suggest that he gets anything like the level of hate that Suarez gets is way wide of the mark.
