TUX brought him up, as per usual, because Stretty said that the premier league teams are crap down the bottom, which they are.

What the hell does Pulis even have to do with Sanchez?

They both have an 'S' in their name

1 in 3 for a Barca or Madrid forward player is not an exceptional return... Pedro was scoring more than that a few years ago and he's pony.

See above, if you can be bothered bud.

A quick tip, I personally wouldn't waste my time if I were you though as it's about football, not just UTD.

So when Messi is scoring the number of goals he las the past few seasons you really expect a wide forward to be contributing more than 1 in 3 as well as his fairly impressive assist rate? How many goals do you think Barca should be scoring every season?

You have a bit of a chip on your shoulder don't you, why do you seem to have such an issue with united fans, it's a bit odd. You do understand this is a place for United fans to discuss football?

Is that not Rooneys ratio in the last 2 seasons?
Pedro Pony?? Really??Does that mean he is worse than Welbeck or henandez?

Pedro ain't Messi but he's an incredibly effective player, especially in the Barca system he was developed in.

Utd are my 'second team' (if that's allowed) due to you beating Liverpool in the Cup in '77 if memory serves (I was 9yrs old and wearing my Palace kit). All my mates bar one but including my brother were Liverpool fans. They were bl--dy everywhere!
I was cheering Utd on. So no, I don't have 'a chip' regarding Utd mate or anything else for that matter.

Stop assuming

Stokes loss as the stats show 'stretty'.

I'm sorry but I don't see Sanchez being as influential in this league. We have all seen how ridiculous the goal snd assist figures are in Spain by comparison to the PL... There are 3 decent teams in Spain and I dont care what anyone says, the rest are utter cráp. Our league is much stronger. I'm sure he'll do well, but people are talking about him like he's the next Suarez or Ronaldo, which simply is not the case!

Hardly Stokes loss, they finished 9th.

Strettys had a bad season so is picking on a minnow
It's called life bud. Aim your frustrations elsewhere or better still, take a deep breath and accept that no-one has died and this season you'll be back to where you believe you belong soon.

I think you need to actually watch the guy player than pull out some stats Flash.

Sanchez is a skillfull, pacy and powerful winger who scores goals. There is a good chance he will be better than he was at barca. He actually has the skillset and his pace and power make his game more convenient for the premiership.

He will be influential at arsenal considering that their best forward is Giroud.

Arsenal finished 3 places above united. He will definitely be influential.

I've seen him play loads this season and if youre thinking he compares to Ronaldo or Suarez then I worry for you. He might be a good player on the level of Hazard if he is lucky. He won't be the top scorer in the league next season.

Hahaha ok then, don't bring up irrelevant nonsensical stuff and I won't have to point out your manager is bobbins and your achievement wasn't that good.

Doesn't like he was wrong and got called on it.

Due to Pulis' efforts in the past
Had Sir Tony had a full season at Palace then I believe we may have finished 8th.

Where do people get this nonsense that other Spanish teams are garbage!Season after season they have more teams in the last 8 of the champions league than any other team. They have won the champions league(recent edition) more than any other league.

Barca and Real are better than any premiership team by a fair bit too. Then you have atletico who on last seasons would have made top 4.

Then you have Valencia, Bilbao and Sevilla who in my opinion could all beat Spurs or Everton.

They have the best players in european football!!

Where the fack does this junk about The Spainish league being weak come from

He is a winger, why would he want to be top scorer? Nobody has put him at Suarez level. He is a good player who at 25 could get better.

Wait so Stoke have their best season in the league in 40 years after sacking Pulis and it's because of Pulis?

comment by TUX (U5315)

Pulis took the club from nothing to a position where they can grow. And they have.
Get it?

posted on 10/7/14

Yet he took them as far as he could and they are better for it.

So it's not their loss, and it's not down to him that finished 9th. In the grand scheme of things it may be. But then that's like saying Paisley only won all those trophies because of Shankley. Which would be similarly stupid.
