Benzema. Fantastic player.
He has pace in abundance, he's a huge guy and has the sort of classy movement for a big guy that Zidane had. Would be a fantastic signing for us but it'd never happen.
Can't think of any that are available to be honest!
Think Bony would be decent, he's had a year in the prem and would do well for us!
So few available, presumably explaining why we are after Bony.
Benzema wont leave Madrid.
Could always go after Remy, he would be cheap at £7m and would cover us at least until January when there are better available.
Was going to write a similar article.
Was Suarez the only World class player in the premiership last season. In my eyes he was.
On that theory we do not have any world class players in the premiership.
I have been arguing with fans on twitter that Suarez was not world class before we bought him. We developed him from a 15 goal a seasn man into a 30 goal a season player.
In terms of World Class strikers i agree there are few out there.
Falcao, Higuan, Benzema, Zlatan & Neymar are the closest i can think of apart from Ronny & Messi
If there's none available now, what makes you think they are available in January?
Clubs don't like selling in January!
Use the £75 + Sturridge to buy Rooney. Would be the most sensible move.
I'd have Benteke ahead of Bony. He's more mobile, faster and stronger.
i wouldn't call naymar world class honestly

I know we haven't been linked to him, and I'm not going to claim I've seen him play but Firmino from Hoffenheim had a great season, getting 16 Goals/11 Assists from an attacking midfield position in the Bundesliga for a mid-table side, only 22 as well.
I think we're more likely to play 1 up top next season so a striker on Benzema's calibre isn't necessary, and adding goals from midfield will make up the contribution Suarez made .
Benzema: 24 goals in 52 games for Madrid
Bony: 25 goals in 48 games for Swansea
One was in La Liga on a team with +66 GD, the other on a mid table Premier League side win 0 GD
Not saying they're equal, but Bony is underrated while Benzema is overrated in my opinion.

Is he even fit yet after his Achilles snapped?
Bony is probably the safe choice. Very hard to buy a world class striker when you sold the other world class striker.
It will be down to others to make us less predictable next season.
You just have to look at Rooney's scoring and assist rate from last season and you won't be saying Sturridge is better? Did he even score last season, maybe a couple of Suarez's rebounds? Rooney also proved it at the world cup this year with a goal, which should put his value at 3 times that of Sturridges's

Gained a few stones apparently..
The gossip pages will be entertaining over the next week....
If bony was playing for Valencia or inter Milan and had 25 in 48, people would be creaming they're y fronts with being linked to him.
But because he plays for Swansea he's not good enough!
In the 12/13 season michu got 22 in 43 and because he's got a Spanish name and long hair people wanted him.
Nothing more than football snobbery!

He had a great 2012/13 season. Look a great talent and almost Suarezesq but that's a shame.
