Yes mate , I went along to watch game.
Bevon and Akins showed a lot of movement on the ball, the trial goal keeper had nothing to save second half, so not much chance to see if he's any good.
The Dutch lad is a big unit up front and looks like he could cause a few problems for any defense as he seemed to drag in 2 or 3 players ever time he had the ball.
What remains of the old team they all looked polished and ready. Robbie Weir looked the best class player on the pitch when he came on.
Ilkeston gave there all, but I think the Brewers can notch it up a few more levels before the season starts.
Looking forward to Saturday as long as it does not get rained off.

Thanks for that JFW , its sort of what i thought . The rain may test the pitch tomorrow ,and im sure our groundsman will be stressing , a good solid workout hopefully from our senior players tomorrow is what i hope for , with a few goals cheers pal .
