In other news Sammon just got a hattrick against Oxford
Hi Moj, hope you're having a good summer
I know exactly how you feel - what happened in May was a body-blow and a low one at that. I didn't dare believe that we'd be able to keep the team together for this year. Then, just when you thought it was safe to raise your head above the parapet, the Thorne injury came along !
So, like you, I've been a bit subdued. But now I've got my tickets for Rotherham, so hopefully back in full swing by the start of the season and buzzin' by September
Don't worry Mo I've been following you Twitter! It looks like we'll be looking at a loan signing to cover Thorne
Welcome back Moj.
Well, as we enjoy a Majorcan summer in Blighty, I think the concensus is that currently we are not as strong as we were when we finished last season.
But it sounds like we are actively seeking more depth and hopefully some quality loan signings.
Fingers crossed X
Moj . For someone with, usually, such a sunny disposition, you sound like your glass is half empty? .
Keep the faith, in Mac and his team we trust
lads
It hit me harder than I thought it would, to be honest. But I do indeed trust in Mac and the lads. Bloody football, eh? YOU RAMS
In other news, I did at least get to see Ray Davies live in Cartagena, so that cheered me up a bit!
Moj! Easy for me to say, but chin up!
I felt sick myself and I follow as a sort of surrogate.
My lot haven't exactly filled me with confidence!
Good luck for the season, Moj, enjoy what's left of the summer.
Evening Moj, glad to see you back. Felt much the same myself since Wembley, like fate was conspiring against us.
I'll feel a lot better when we get a first win of the season and if we can get a couple of decent loans in.
Saw Ray Davies at Glastonbury in 2010. Great songs but the old voice was a bit tired. Not got your vocal range 😉
Hi Mojaca
Stiffen the sinews! We've survived much worse!
Sinews stiffened Cat - we fight anew!

Yeah cheer up Moj, if we didn't have the lows we wouldn't enjoy the highs as much, remember the euphoria in the lead up to 'that match' against they who cannot be named.
Who wants to win all the time, that would be like supporting Man City or Chelsea, terrible!
Actually, let me think that through again.....
Hiya Moja, sorry I haven't moved on at all, watch THAT goal everyday and will never forget that slow motion moment when you know bad Shiite is just about to happen...........then the 'Georgegate' affair, will he, won't he and then at last some excitement , followed by...., thought I might get a lift with the new strips and when I saw the third strip thought let's hope we play like Brazil.....
And you thought you had it bad.
Only joking .......it's part off life and what's meant for you won't past you, better days ahead mate.
Roll on Rotherham
COYRAMS.
Indeed - Roll on Rotherham!
Let's hit the ground running!

I enjoyed your passage until you used the word approaches instead of approacheth; C+, must try harder!
I was a gnats from using 'approacheth', treeburning, but I didn't want to gild the lily!
Moj, since reading of your long hard summer, something has been bothering me.
I couldn't put my finger on it, but having just returned from a blissful bike ride, it clicked.
And what dawned on me infused me with a terrible guilt.
You see, I realised I've really enjoyed the close season.
The guilt comes from believing I may have not entirely suffered your complete pain,(something I feel I owe my kindred spirits on here).
But then the reason for my troubled mind hit home.
You see, Moj, as bad as I feel for you guys, I'm only a couple of weeks away from a whole season of drudgery. My malaise is round the corner.
Roll on the next close season!
RiD; Having reviewed your plight, and come to terms with the depths of it, I offer my condolences, and assure you that we on the Derby board will be here for you in your hour of need, perhaps with the occasional recipe to perk you up.
I've enjoyed the close season...but I .enjoyed going to the game yesterday more....roll on Rotherham...
for me the squad is in good shape. could be alot better but every fan in our league is saying that about their team. none more so than Blackpool. A few strong sides in the league this year. Forest have made some decent signings. Fulham seem to be signing quantity over quality.
Next few weeks are going to be big for us and how we start the season is important.
1 thing that is a big question for McClaren before next week does he play Dawkins or Ward.
Hughes will do a job in the defensive role. He's alot more mobile than George and will hold onto the ball abit longer to open up the play.
At moment I can't make Shef Wed game but all sorted for Charlton the following week. Even got a hotel booked for Brentford away in Nov. My Dads planning on getting to every league game this season and my lad should get to around 40 of them....
Booking hotels, sorting train tickets out, season ticket safely arrived, sorting out away tickets....The new season is here!!! Couldn't give a flying feck what league we are in.....theres nothing better....
Griff It can't come soon enough
Roll on the weekend
