If they wanted to go for victory, they wouldn't have batted azhar at 3. I think they will tick tick around next session and see what the situation is in the last One
2 quick wickets. Looks like its time to shut up shop and play for a draw.
Told you that yesterday kash. 2 dodgy openers, and a snail at 3.... Another 2 wickets for New Zealand and the rest of the lower order will have nappies on
Misbah gone. I'm putting my nappy on now.

May as well shake hands now.
I think we should make one more attempt to win this.
No chance. We've done well for a draw. No need to attempt a victory from here.
YK was still trying to win game. 16 over should be enough to survive.
Should have promoted Safaraz earlier. We would have chased this.
Yeah, tactics cost us but a draw is a fair result. Credit to NZ for giving us a game and putting in a great fight.
Pakistan have shown that winning the toss in UAE has no distinct advantages. The game was there for us to win.
Of course it doesn't kash. There's only one trend that I can see.....
Pakistan remain unbeaten.
All those dropped catches in the 1st innings cost us. Anyway we held on to a draw which is a fair result at the end of the day. Openers
Pakistan will end 2014 still unbeaten at home in test
Sharjah will again suit the spinners. Hopefully Hafeez won't be banned from bowling but no doubt the BCCI will ensure he is banned.
Also, let's not forget azhar Alis wasteful innings first time around... That also cost us.
Azhar's batting in first innings was a cure to insomnia. A number 3 should not be that negative. Personally in next test I'd put him in as opener and bring in Haris Sohail in middle order.
Does anyone know how Sharjah usually plays?

Day 1-3 fairly flat and then day 4-5 plenty of turn

Jezzer,
Just to add to kashs comment, Sharjah is also a results pitch. 6 tests have seen just the one draw. Bat first and anything over 400 is a very good score
Kash - dont dish it out then
I doubt Vetori will have much impact.
cheers Afridi, should be a good watch then
