Serial, I'm sure it is/was me you disagree with about Davies, and NO he is never a centre-forward/striker! He is useless in the air as a rule, but by law of averages anyone will knock one in...
His goals have mainly been that of a marauding, attacking midfielder, in fact, both games I've seen have seen him play the role of inside left winger. We played against Doncaster with NOBODY in the striker position, and six in midfield.

Mostyn: Wassa also (wrongly), like you believes Daveis to be a winger too.
If he is useless in the air, then why is he scoring so many headed goals, following on from the end of last season?

Smithie I satnd by what I said if you win 6 of those 9 games peeps will sit up and take notice
milwall have played pretty well this season just can't score that may change it may not, you have Leicester, cov and forest not easy games regardless of how the 3 of them are playing i believe it will be a rough little period of games for you, that's not to say you won't win games I just think that, particular period will be a bit of an acid test gor your season

Leciester I think will be tough but they are no where near the standard i expected but it is still early, Forest do not look to me to have the cutting edge up front and Coentry have had a shambolic start to the season with 1 point in four games.
If we keep playing this effective but no where near pretty football top 10 should easily be achievable and I really want to see some of our other players come in to this team e.g. Barker, Tyson, Riggott and Green
Serial, quite simply, aerial ability is when you're OFF the ground. Heading ability is a different thing completely. That said, he's missed some absolute dollies with his head. His skill is actually running with the ball, at a back-tracking defender. His actual box play isnt that good.
Derby County have made an excellent start to the new season and well done to them.
Sadly, I believe falling attendance is not the players or the manager, but down to Glick and the board who have not committed themselves to invest sensible funding to the manager to purchase the quality players he needs to push on.
Unwrap your fingers from around your fat wallet Mr Glick and the board and produce the money for the manager to spend as he requires to move Derby forward rather than just standing still. .
