I was hoping Brown would have been fit for the Aberdeen game or even Salzburg.

I see Southampton bought one of their players for £10m yesterday

RnR seen that

although seemingly they have 2 better players than that lad

CT, I'm still confident as well as it seems that Guidetti is still in Glasgow

RnR, yes, happy with that, the guy scored 17 goals for them last year so will clearly be a loss to them

Is he in glasgow ??

It seems were making moves to make this happen , therefore it should happen

Even if it does happen , it looks like he won't play in the Europa League

I think it would be ok if FIFA approve it RnR, if you have lodged to have someone register before their deadline and they approve it after it, it should still be ok

RNR you beat me to it, cant understand has this taken so long. I hope we do sign him before the deadline tonight but reading that dont think it will ...so fluck we will still have stokes

It does mention they can approve for him to play domestically.

Plus, they are saying the appeal may take 24hrs to be heard. We've got hours left to get him in for Europa

Apparently it's just said on ssn guidetti is trying to organize a release from city so he can sign

He certainly seems keen to come here, perhaps he likes the idea of the chance to become a bit of a cult here

Be much better if he got released from City and signed before 11pm tonight

RnR i was just passing on what i was told

I think it looks likely it will happen one way or another now as they say Celtic will have a strong case with fifa but Europa league looks like a problem.

An insider said: “Celtic and Manchester City began uploading the relevant information before midnight on Monday on FIFA’s online Transfer Matching System. It was not completed until after midnight and so an automated exception warning was received. But the very fact that the process was started before midnight should mean Guidetti’s move will eventually be approved.

“The problem now, however, is that it’s far form clear that this process will be concluded in time for the player to be included in Deila’s final squad for the Europa League, as this must be submitted to UEFA before 11pm tonight.

“It’s a frustrating situation for Celtic and for Guidetti but both parties want to press ahead with the loan deal regardless of how things turn out tonight.”

I suppose even if we do just get him for the Domestic season, we have Scepovic as another option.

Looks promising though

Tom Cleverley had his loan approved today to go to Villa by the EPL for example, so I think it will be fine if the SFA have approved it then he can play domestically, I think the only issue is now international clearance or something so he can play in the Europa

RnR

If the SPFL have approved it then he's pretty much signed for us domestically as UEFA or FIFA have no say in that, the problem will be proving to FIFA he was registered in time to compete in a European competition

Can see it now

He plays for you in Europe, UEFA say he is ineligible after he does, you get flung oot

posted on 2/9/14

last scenrio you would want would be for those two to hit it off as a partnership but we cant use them for the europa league

can you not change your squad after tonight for the group stages ??
