Some stunners on there!
Proper sh ite! That's what the ratings should say.
My poor old dad braced himsen for a lorry load of abuse from his Leeds supporting work colleagues on Monday. But he didn't!
Apparently they were all talking about Man U's capitulation at Leicester
Some very strange results last weekend.
I'm gonna put the thread up today. I can't do it tomorrow or Friday. Soz. But just comment on this until you lot see fit
was looking at a photo of the old ground someone posted on twatter the other day...and i was thinking too that theycould have just ripped the stands out and built a 'bowl' around the pitch...there was plenty of space around the old ground, both inside the walls and outside.
just imagine it...and the pitch the 'right way' round too...our own stand behind the goals...sigh !
Yeah I know about the money, but you can't tell me we couldn't have stuck up a new stadium 20 years ago for around £20m ...with sponsorship and stuff that would have been reduced and we'd own 100% of it..not saddled as we are now paying £800k rent of a stadium we supposedly have 40% share of...and KSDL planning to build a blooming shopping mall around the place...
nah...the JSS is a sheite stadium..souless, cold and morbid...nowonder we can't win there..
Bit like comparing 'Suburbia', on the peripherals of major towns and cities around the world ...to old style community villages and self contained towns...
One works, the other Doesn't.
Soulless on every level.

Leeds road was the soul of the club...we owned it..the history that was made in that ground/pitch...just to sell it and build summet you only have 40 percent share in and have to pay rent
I watched many a game at leeds road with8/9 thou crowds and a good atmosphere could always be created
if I ever win the euro millions I will buy the retail park and build another leeds road
Two comments there that I whole heatedly concur.
Liverpool , It's a big "tick" from me too Jacko, re-development, Way to go.
which then ties in with Walt ...
1st class sentiment, of which I have envisaged many times too.
I'm good hydy
It always makes me a little sad when anyone mentions leeds road
The largest town home crowd I have ever been in was at leeds road in 1981 against barnsley...28.901 not bad for a ickle town
I was born in that year. I can't really remember the old ground tbh.
I can remember just being stood up and thinking, I wonder what it's like to be sat over there in those wooden seats.
I also missed the last ever game there against Blackpool. Because I was in trouble with my mum and dad, and I was gonna get the dreaded "slipper" from my dad!
I hid on a concrete stand about 20ft off the floor. It was on the canal bridge by the ship Inn Mirfield for 4 hours!
I can't even remember what I did wrong
Best I can remember at Leeds rd Walt, Hydy...

I've just watched a film that was on BBC 2 last night. It was based on a true story about a man with learning difficulties.
It was called marvellous. Very football based, around Stoke city. All I'll say is, that it's inspirational, moving and funny. Lol Macari is in it too.
If you get the chance. Just watch it. Fantastic TV
I'll have a look out for that Hydy
