I thought it's Manchester City itself paying his wages at the moment like most loan deals.
Wenger could do himself a favour and stop banging on about City, but it's quite clear that the deal is a bit dodgy.
merrysupersteve is right.
City found a loophole.
Man City are paying Lampard's wages.
It's ridiculous.
Pellegrini could easily have ignored a player who was deemed not good enough for a team two places below his own. It is a shrewd signing and most people if they were honest probably wouldn't have signed Lampard, Wenger seems bitter.
anything that bypasses the farce that is FFP is a good thing
the sooner they kill this rule the better
Just for those who are still not getting it,
MANCHESTER CITY ARE PAYING HIS WAGES.
IN FULL.

Can you stop beating around the bush and tell us, in plain, loud, English please
How come wenger never moans about the fact he's the highest paid manager in world football, despite delivering very little?
Wenger's wages are immoral.

Is that right, mate? I'm sure he's up there, but I don't think he's THE highest paid. I'm sure Mourinho and Pep would be earning more, if not LVG as well.
While all involved in elite football are paid obscene amounts of money, AW isn’t even the highest paid manager in the PL never mind world football.
According to Forbes, he's the 5th highest paid behind (in order):
1. Pep
2. Mourinho
3. Lippi
4. LVG

So City do pay Lampard's wage in full. I assumed Wenger would have done his research there, so I wouldn't hav eto
He really has nothing to complain about then. All above board and nothing wrong with the deal at all imo
I haven't really been following this story but isn't Wenger's issue not with who pays his wage but about owners being allowed to own more than 1 club which enables them to move their assets around however they like and gain greater control.
It's not the same as feeder clubs as a feeder club ultimately has it's own say as it is not owned but the club they work with.
According to this list Wenger is the joint 4th highest paid manager which considering the time he has spent at Arsenal and the fact the PL earn more money than any other league is completely fair.

Well apparently New York City are admamant that they want him back in January so it'll be interesting to see how that works out.

Surely it will depend how the owners feel he can best be used, to promote their NY team or help City win trophies. And this is surely Wenger's point.
Wenger was the kid in school who grassed everyone up to make himself loo better.
He should concentrate on winning old big ears and stop bleeting on about other clubs.
Well joint 4th highest in the world then, not bad for a decade of mediocrity
No, he's a very moral person and if he feels like there is something wrong in the game will speak out. I wish more managers were like him.
He ain't perfect but he'll be greatly missed once he retires.
AW’s grievance seems to be more to do with conflict of interest as both clubs have the same owners IMO.
