Stoopo, because that is deal he had with Yorkshire Radio and I would not be surprised if he tried to negotiate that with GFH/Haigh and Cellino has said he just signed off the agreement to avoid court.

Yorkshire Radio ran at a substantial loss, despite LUFC paying them for commentaries, I struggle to see how Radio Yorkshire can be making money for Bates especially if he had to pay for rights and bates doesn't do things unless there is money in it for him.

Maybe MC can confirm that Leeds are actually being paid by Bates for these rights this time around.

If MC is over a barrel because of a previously signed and binding contract, there is nothing he can do about it. Even if it means he pays YR, which would be a stunning arrangement. But one probably put in place as a long term contract by Bates himself.

Strangely, though, didn't GFH shut down YR? I don;t know the ins and outs, but if they did, and Bates then set it up again as a newco, or bought it and kept the name, would the contract still be valid?

Whichever way you look at it MC will have sold this club down the river, such an easy pushover.......
