Considering the beating we took off the Germans I dont blame the players for being nervous but we were shocking. The whole game was Germany attack we hoof it long and give it straight back. Surely Long should've started to give us pace on the counter.
Thankfully we lucked out but play like that against Scotland/Poland and we're fooked.

Only three more qualifiers before next summer, all against what were seen to be our direct rivals for 2nd place

I'm worried about the Scotland games tbh. They have more technically gifted players than we have (Morrison, Maloney, Anya, Dorrans, McArthur).

There's a weird stat on the UEFA website they've called "Dangerous Attacks", no idea how they work that out, but it's ever so slightly tipped in Germany's favour, 11-9. Seems to me that if you manage to keep it close in those terms, then you're playing more to your own strengths than to theirs.
