It's never been the same since Orinocho initiated the litter picking strike of 1997...

Not really mate, we're used to losers who can'g feckin' get over something that happened 8-9 years ago!

The people who are still going on about MK Dons need to get a life, MK Dons fans are fans of football and could not care a less about Wimbledon.

We are now a club going places as is AFC Wimbledon, just enjoy your own club.

To be fair MK Dons, if someone destroyed your pride and heritage you'd be a tad annoyed. Oh yes, I forgot, MK is a soulless hell hole bereft of character or anything to be proud of...

PieEater, the only people who destroyed it are Wimbledon fans who done absolutley nothing to save the team they support!

Are people actually of the opinion that the representatives of MK Dons, its fans and its staff, actually traveled to a place near Wimbledon, but not Wimbledon, and stole a football club?

Franchise customers are their own worst enemy, as this quote demonstrates:

"PieEater, the only people who destroyed it are Wimbledon fans who done absolutley nothing to save the team they support!"

When this level of complete ignorance exists - and it's far from an isolated example - then why on earth do they think the matter will be laid to rest?

Nine years on and these idiots are still repeating exactly the same lies and misinformation from 2002. They've learned absolutely nothing in that time. The people that need to learn their history and thereby be able to 'move on' and 'get a life' are the Franchise customers still clinging to the outright lies from the past.

And on the subject of 'stealing':

I could probably find a blog titled 'Hitler wasn't that bad'.

I wouldn't be proving anything though.

I can try and put it in another way then, are you happy with AFC Wimbledon?

You already put it quite clearly with this complete lie:

"the only people who destroyed it are Wimbledon fans who done absolutley nothing to save the team they support!"

Care to retract? Care to learn the facts? Or are you happy just going on making Franchise customers look ever worse because you STILL believe the lies you were fed?

Care to answer my question?
You're boring Ex, you say the SAAAAME stuff every week, and I just don't like reading it because, quite simply...It pizzez you off

Plough I have told you many times if you think there was stealing going on then go to the Police.

I don't blame the AFCW fans (how can we blame fans of a new club?). I blame Hammam, Merton Council and others like Bathwobble who deserted Plough at the earliest opportunity.

I'd be a follower of the Blog, but I would probably be accused of stalking him.

Such a shame so many posts and not one follower, come on someone somewhere MUST be interested in what Bathwomble has to say.

Actually ther is one thing I do agree with Bath on, the phrase "the only people who destroyed it are Wimbledon fans who done absolutley nothing to save the team they support!" is wrong a number of fans did try to save it.

They ran a completely ineffectual campaign but you can't accuse them of not trying.

It was success that killed Wimbledon, not the fans.

"It was success that killed Wimbledon, not the fans."

What an extremely stupid thing to say. What killed Wimbledon FC was avaricious owners trying to make millions and a property developer from MK trying to build a supermarket.

"I have told you many times if you think there was stealing going on then go to the Police."

http://truthaboutfranchisefc.blogspot.com/2011/08/who-stole-wimbledons-football-club-and.html

Specifically this:

"And I will digress on to the definition of the word 'stolen'. It does not mean any law has been broken. It means something has been taken without permission. The tired comeback of 'report it to the police then' and variations on that, are about the most witless, ignorant responses I've seen, yet that is surprisingly frequently what Franchise customers resort to. I usually ridicule it by asking them if they reported it to the police the last time someone stole their heart, but I think the richness of the language and the fact that I'm laughing at them is usually lost on them."

You were the witless, ignorant individual I had in mind.

A bit of a mistake there (well one of many in your blog), if someone steals your heart, it is not without your permission so it is not the same thing at all.

Taking something without permission is indeed stealing, but if you don't possess something then it cannot be taken from you, therefore as you didn't own Wimbledon FC, it wasn't stolen from you.

posted on 28/8/11

Oh dear Plough you are getting yourself in a twist.

No one has stolen my heart and I doubt I will be going to the Police if they did as I would be dead. If you mean you had affection for Wimbledon which was removed when they moved to MK then you should say its was unrequited love you are referring to.

Indeed they are many times something is taken without permission, often when a person doesn't have the right to possession they claim. I suggest that the Wimbledon move falls in this category, which is supported by your previous absurd claim that you owned the club.

Bath, that really shows how little you really know about Wimbledon, when we were in the Southern League and getting special games in the FA Cup, no-one was interested in trying to make money, we were all content to watch the games and go for a drink and a laugh afterwards whatever the result.

Once success came, it left us open to the shysters and the rapid promotions just made thigns worse.
