I agree but I think we a wrecking the kids progression by playing him RB. Dier can always come on for Fazio especially with the Red cards Fazio is racking up. Dier will probably start in my formation.

About time we had more of a stable back 4. Stick with a back 4 and play them through most games and they might even look better than rubbish for a change.

There are three grafters in midfield, no pace and not one of them who can pass a ball.
Wholly reliant on Lamela for any width, creativity or pace.

The problem with that side is you are playing a diamond, but saying your fullbacks can't go past halfway.
There are three grafters in midfield, no pace and not one of them who can pass a ball.
Wholly reliant on Lamela for any width, creativity or pace.
If you are looking to get a few 0-0 draws it is perfect

I want us to have a solid base first. Lamela and Kane can always peel wide to provide width without us having to alter our personnel mid-game if it's not working. Bu tI would like us to be solid first.
Lamela free role will give him the license to take up space on the flanks and find space.
He's our record signing whether we like it or not. He seems to have 'x-factor' amongst our players. Gove him the license to affect play and put faith in him.
He seems to enjoy the battle more than Eriksen. We need this.
If I had a team against that side I'd tell to double up on Lamela whenever he gets the ball. Don't worry about any of the midfield hurting you because they can't.

There's aways a counter tactic for any tactic. However my statement remains the same. I want us to be solid first. We are leaking goals. Lets stop that first then worry about fullbacks pushing on and creating chances.
It's very clear we don't have the players or mentality to fight fire with fire.
I'd agree with the defenders being told to do nothing but defend. Get a solid (sort of) base and then go from there.

I think Eriksen needs to be in the Europa league. Lamela needs to be the Premier league. They both cannot play in the same team in Poch's system
Is management really that hard. Poch should just have two teams that do not change for each competition. Europa league is just as important as league to us.
Europa league team plays Premier league team every training session. Let everyone understand their role within their set team.
Both can play the same system if Poch likes then at least everyone would understand their role better.
