FA & FIFA are corrupt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The FA are the lesser of two evils.
Haha I was just reading this, shambles doesn't even cover it. Can't believe these people run the beautiful game.

I wonder what (if anything) will it take for FA's around the world to say enough is enough and walk away.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trouble is,, they all have the same vote, regardless of their organisation size or representation, so all those minnow organisations just continue to line their pockets off Blatter and vote how they are told. Its not worth their while otherwise as they know that the whole process is bomb proof and they will never be bought to account.
My thoughts are that we just take part in UEFA sanctioned competitions and boycott FIFA sanctioned ones, and as many European Organisations as we can, alot of them stood up and voted against Blatter i recall.

Dunno how you guys can laugh this off.
Makes me positively enraged.
What an absolute load of crap.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because what else can you do? It's so transparently, ridiculously corrupt that you have to laugh. Not only to deny that Qatar and Russia were involved in any corruption, but to even turn it around and blame the FA...
@tariqpanja: Japan bid gave gifts ranging from $700 to $2000 to FIFA officials including cameras and handbags... many members denied getting them
We should pull out of the 2018 and 2022 world cups.
That's what I would do.
If the FA accept this and don't do anything they'll be bigger jokes than people already think.
they have now been cleared of wrongdoing, although the report said that there were "certain indications of potentially problematic conduct of specific individuals".
According to the report, the Russian team hired computers that were subsequently destroyed, denying the inquiry access to email accounts.
-------
This is actually too funny.
I hope those two world cups are an absolute disaster.
This is about the only time these days that I could give a fack about international football

2 wrongs don't make a right. They are all at it. FA can't complain if they are being mischievous themselves.

Is Jay been investigated?
No way Jay would get hired for such an important job in Russia.
These qunts should never be welcomed in England ever again. Disgraceful!
Would an FA boycott be such a bad thing? Surely the way the FA have been bad mouthed could make it a possibility?
Surprise, surprise, Qatar have done no wrong according to FIFA and the whistle blowers have mug thrown at them. Blatter and his football illuminati cronies will be the death of this game.

I would hope so, but the financial backers in terms of sponsorship etc would have a big say im guessing.
Something has to be done, we aren't used to being sycophantic yes men, trouble is we also like to bluster whilst not actually doing much about anything. I bet the French if this had happened to them, would blockade Switzerland with Farmers, cattle and HGVs the burn the country down!

They should be the catalyst for a rebirth. The time has come to boycott FIFA.
Whether others would follow suit or not, for us to pull out would make a very big statement. I do want to see us at tournaments even if we're crap but it would be great to stick two fingers up to FIFA.

I agree, we should, but we will compromise our integrity for our responsibility to our financial partners unfortunately.
It`s about time the FA were told a few home truths, their whiter than whiter image is just a joke. They are as guilty as the next organisation or committee of given out bungs to further their cause. They are in fact no different to FIFA in many respects.
England fans are usually by far the biggest foreign supporters at FIFA's tournaments and qualifying games.
One of the attractions of hosting a tournament is the amount of money this tourism generates.
That is the kind of boycott that will get FIFA's attention.
Sadly I doubt England fans have the desire to follow through on such an action x

Based on what exactly?
England fans would still go to the tournaments, though, I reckon.
Boycotting would be the best thing England has done on the world stage since 1966.
