Not keen on Ghoulam as a swap for Marcelo as think Koke isn't all that far behind Vidal

I personally think if i had Koke Rakitic and Marcelo people would find it hard to label any as a weakness, whereas they probably would with Ghoulam. I'd also be worried that given his destinations he's been linked with he could end up sat on a bench behind Alaba or starting and being shown to have a weakness defensively in the PL. I also see Koke as likely being rated better than Vidal in a few years and Marcelo is bang in his prime, can't see Ghoulam becoming as good.

Goulham might be better than Marcelo in 4-5 years, i think it'll be much sooner than that for Koke being better.

Rakitic i don't think needs improving any time soon, he may lose his ability to cover as much ground but his passing etc is so good that I'm sure he can adapt to play a different midfield role.

True, but id want Koke and Marcelo right now rather than Vidal and Ghoulam. The two things Vidal had over Koke were his engine and his productivity in terms of goals/assists, neither of which he's showing this season. Obviously not writing him off, but for me Koke isn't all that far off and on form is playing much better so may as well keep
